Think Evanescence except, they have two guitarist, and two lead singers...a girl and a guy. They've been around way longer and have a couple CD's out. I'm listening to "Comalies" right now. Awesome stuff, puts Amy Lee to shame though.

I heard them on the radio today, the local mainstream... I loved 'em. Absolutely, makes me want to buy their music badly. I was left stunned... until my dad asked how the music was (in reference to the speakers ::]) and I just babbled out that I liked what I was hearing (yes, that is paraphrasing) and I heard 'em, thinking, "They can't be Christian, can they?" I'd be surprised if they were, only because I'd have never heard of of 'em before.

I dig 'em, though I am tryin to understan their one song.. is it called "heaven's a lie?"

Yeah, I had trouble understanding "Too Much Of Heaven" by Eiffel 65, so don't be surprised if it takes a while to choke down, then don't be surprised. (I'm a little confused myself as to what the song means)

You might have been confused about the song Heaven is a lie So was I until I reed a Article about them in Alternative Press they say the song is not about Hateing God.It's about Freedom of Expression and of Ideas in General, and they dont do Weird Rituals and Convert Crosses.

Thanks for pointing that out but if you read the lyrics, its kind of obvious the song isn't about the actual Heaven.

And just because they say Heavens a lie wouldn't make them satanist... It would make them... either atheist or whatever :P

I actually did hear them once, and I thought they were ok, but I never did much about listening to them. So, naturally, I could care less.

i saw them live a couple of years ago...they rocked my pants off...the guy singer really bugs me tho.

u r right these guys r not a satanist band, they r more or less agnostic...if u go to emptyspiral.net u can find out a lot about them. Excellent band, especially their new release Karmacode.

i don't think he's evil-looking or anything...his voice just bothers me. i think it ruins their music on some of the songs on the cd i have.

yeah that seems to be a common complaint... i dont mind him tho. Hes grown a lot on Karmacode, hes actually pretty good.

His voice bothered me at first too. But now I don't mind him. I've started listening to some melodic death metal bands and while I hate that growling voice usually (some guys can pull it off and I like it), I like the music so I just kind of had to put up with the gurgling vocals. So now all that other stuff I didn't really much care for (Marco singing in Nightwish once in a while, the male singer in Lacuna Coil etc) is music to my ears now. Even those death/black metal vocals are even starting to grow on me (still have to take them in doses though)

Evanescence HAS two guitarists, and Evanescence has been together longer than LC. I know you don't believe me on this, but they formed in 1995 and had a few EPs and an LP out before Fallen. Try to do a little research, honey.
Plus, "puts Amy Lee to shame though"? That's clearly opinion based. Amy Lee is a great singer, no matter what you think about her. I don't understand all the hate towards Evanescence coming from LC fans.
Anyways, I like Lacuna Coil. My favorite song from them is probably Angel's Punishment(just like Heaven's a Lie, the title is throwing me off and making me wonder).
