The lead guitarist Johnny Ramone has passed away. He had been battling cancer for 5 years. Please pray for his family...

I guess they aren't bad if you like the punk rock stuff. I don't really care for that. I like heavier stuff than the Ramones. :-\

aww yeah i heard Johnny Ramone past away, too. :( thats really sad. I love the ramones. How can you say that they are overrated? yeah, there from late 70's, but they still rock!

It is sad that people have never heard of The Ramones.

I mean, they pretty much are responsible for anything that is labelled "punk" today. They were the original punk band.

The original real punk band. Don't think Bad Charlotte..or um..good? This stuff is good. If you havent heard of them download some of these songs (or find clips..w/e..not trying to get people to 'Steal' there music because the ramones music is worth it...but try it out:
