Haha, I can't help but contribute to... this.
I've been here since the beginning. Since there was some dorky little thing on the very first version of PH where there were messages between Tracy and I back and forth - creating some major side scroll. I was here when Chrishna set up the very first real message boards against Will's wishes [he didn't want message boards kids].
As for how I feel about it. I used to like it a lot more. Sometimes I think it's okay. Sometimes I want it all to just blow up.

It did kind of blow up. Or at least a sector on the hard-drive did. In any case, it has died once, lets not wish it another death. Or else Will might scream.

Oh, it's died more than once. It decides to 'die/explode/throw a tantrum' every few months or so to keep Will on his toes.
I'll post my little ph.org story later. ;)

I just like the music section mostly. I still like these boards okay. I found out about some really cool bands for the first time here (Bennjamin Gate, Grammatrain, Thrice, AFI, Stavesacre, Joy Electric, Starflyer59, etc, etc...), as well as learned about Skillet's past releases before AY.
I joined I think a few months after AY came out. I used to contribute (start arguments) in the Mars Hill section all the time back then. I think I had been taking some lame non-christian 2year-college Old and New Testament philosophy class back then that influenced me a lot...I steer clear of most secular college philosophy classes nowadays till I can start attending a christian college a semester or two from now...

one day last year during winter break, i was bored so i went around to the websites of a couple of my fave bands. stumbled onto AY.com & found the message boards. i figured, why not, doesn't cost anything. ;) i hadn't even been on a message board before then, so it was a new experience.
after a while i thought i'd check out PH.org to see the boards there since i'd gotten to know Tracy & some others who posted on both. i wouldn't say one was better than the other (in my opinion), just different. i liked the atmosphere of both, but AY was crazy a lot of the time. so PH was sorta like my retreat away from the crazy/wild postings of panheads. ;)
i've loved both boards because not only are the people awesome, but the discussions have really taught me a lot & challenged me in how i act & how i view God. you guys rock! \m/ :afro:
I was here when Chrishna set up the very first real message boards against Will's wishes [he didn't want message boards kids].
it wasn't so much that i didn't want message boards... i just didn't like the idea of using something like ezboards, that's all.

In a nutshell, he probably did ;)
Anyways, I check this out a long time ago, but I didn't register until last year, so it's been fammilar for awhile now....
I think this board's a bit more...mature than other boards I've been to, that's one of the reasons I like it.
also, it's about the people in Skillet, and God(mostly God)than the member's outfits and whatnot.
Although I love their clothes, people(me too)shouldn't focus on that.
What they should focus on is Skillet's spiritual life, and getting closer to God.

Well, I first began lurking the AY message boards probably about... mid 2002... I finally registered on October the 29th of that year. I posted asking if anyone suggested any other rockin artists/bands, if I recall correctly... I think that Tracy was one of the people who replied to me... *tries to remember who else*
Then after posting a few times about that, I didn't again until Christmas that year. And ever since then I have been hooked. This place trully is a blessing, its kept in order, there are some nice-cool people here, and really cool mods. ;) I am on other boards and none of them add up to the way this one is... though I fear soon it will change and not be as safe... :-\
I also was on the old PH boards for a lil bit.... not that anyone remembers cause I didn't post all that much...
If anyone had told me that I was gonna be involved in message boards and chatting 2 years ago I would of said "HECK NO!!!" Cause I thought everyone online was 40 year old men named Earl posing as 14 year old girls named Sue! :o lol!!
I believe I was meant to come on here, I thank God for this place. I have made some awesome friends here, and some very awesome life-long friends. :)
Okay I sound too "lets hold hands and skip in a field of wildflowers".
Of course I am focusing on the good here, lol. But hey.. there are some people that I bump heads with and or some that I'd like to smack upside the head. :P
There, thats better. ;)

Oh man*tries to think*...I think i started to post on the old PH's in the summer of 2002 after i seen skillet at creation...and i can honestly say that everyone here was so nice that i soon felt at home.I know a lot of people were so kind but i esp remember both Rachels(Firey and Skilletosis),Tracy,Dana,Chrish and Jaret making me feel welcome....Dana has since moved on to other things that God had for her...but the others are still around :) ....and before long i had become the resident"father"..which was ok with me 8)
I have to be honest... right after the merge i wasnt sure if i was going to fit in because like Mike said...things didnt seem as "laid back" as the old boards were....but in time it came around and now i am that much more the richer because i got to know alot of new people....and with the band going mainstream...i look forward to being blessed with getting to know even more.
Besides making heaven my home....my main goal is to encourage people to be real in their faith...and to have a passion to serve Him...and if i can really help someone...even if its just one person...i will be a happy person.
And like Saul has already said.....I love you guys too. :)
God bless you all

Ya, really, this board, is awesome, I mean, I can go to other boards, I don't find the satisfaction in it as I do in this one, one, we have awesome mods like ive said before, I mean, take for an exaple, Falling Up boards, I go there, and you go to the members section, its says "Admin" on the very first member, does he ever stick around, no, ive never seen him before, or heard of him talk, I don't even know who he or she is, so, really, its awesome we have mods that care, so this board is awesome.

The internet archive website might have some. It was pretty neat. Red. Version two was orange, I think. The turquoise one that was up since AY was v.3. I guess Will's little temporary deal was v.4.5. v.4 never got applied but it was awesome. Chrishna did it from scratch. It was just.. so cool. There's no words. No words!

Kill me= matame

Yes. As soon as I travel to Latin America--well, I might be in Ecuador in two years, I will walk up to the nearest available person y dice: "La sed me esta tomando." I think I got the "de nada" y " Donde esta el bano" down pat, considering I use some of these daily...
Maybe I'll use them if I go to Mexico :D
