What do you mean by ranks? or do you mean the ropes? You may want to go over to Laws of the land and reread it. One thing I've always been mindfull of is I don't like to start a thread unless there's a real point to discuss. Also spend some time reading the threads before posting in a thread. We try to stay on topic but as you will see that is not always easy. Other than that we have an introductions thread if you haven't introduced yourself yet. Jump in, and join the craziness....
