I'm not entirely sure what the significance of it is..I understand it somewhat but not entirely...but this is what the bible says..

well, God's number, 7, is perfect, according to the bible, but 666 is an infinitive, it'll keep going on... 66666666666666666.... etc, forever. it'll never reach 7, it shows that satan is always going to fall short of God, he's never gonna be able to reach His might. that's what i think, anyway :-\

excuse me? in order to understand the significance of the number, i think it is perfectly reasonable to understand what the number actually is. regardless, there is no need to tell anyone to shut up. yeah, kthx.

The verse is awfully confusing... I cant really find any signifigance... except that the machine that prints the euro has been nicknamed "the beast" and it just happens to run on a binary code of 6's, so that might represent the occurence of a one world currency in the not-so-distant future.

I was reading different articles, studies, or whatever they're called concerning the number 666 and there seems to be some sort of trinity significance to it, i'm not sure what the thrid is but the first two are, satan and sin. It also has to do with the satanic symbol the 6 pointed star, and all other works done by the devil, here's one website I went to..

Every page I go to seems to have a different opinion on the relevance of the number 666... then there are those spastic people who believe everything with the number 666 should be ban. Like when $6.66 comes up on the register, they have to add a pack of gum to the list. Or that these new chips they put in your hand that hold medical/bank info has the number 666 embedded in the chip number 23598261-4329458-539598-5582666358-489427528.

I personally don't have an opinion on it. I think that we will know what to look for when the time comes. I however, don't think it will be from a smart chip placed in the hand like people are freaking about.

i believe you are referring to the pentagram, which is the normal 5 pointed star most people are used to (though sometimes flipped upside down). A six pointed start would be the Star of David :)

There is a 6 pointed star inside a circle which is called a hexagram and is a powerful magick tool.

Star of David is from Qabbalah which isn't much better really.

About getting freaked out when people see 666 on something they own, I think is a little exaggerating, heh..unless it would come out on my license plate or something i'd change it, but that's about it (at least that I can think of right now) I don't think it's a BAD number, what is bad is the way that some people use it.

I'm still holdin that he jacks our number. If memory serves correctly, Satan has a tendancy to pervert that which is fine or even upstanding. He took our number, punk.
