I have actually never had a chance to read those books, though a lot of my friends have, and say they are really good...I had no clue that there was a movie(s) being made, though!

i'd heard they were making a movie about the Hitch Hiker's Guide. i dunno how well it will transfer to the screen, but if any of Douglas Adams' wit gets through, it should be hilarious. ;)

& just so you know, there are 4 books in the trilogy. "Hitch Hiker's Guide to the Galaxy," "Restaurant at the End of the Universe," Life, the Universe and Everything" and "So Long, and Thanks for All the Fish." ;)

i did not know that! :o you learn something new every day. i was just going from what i read in the little bio in the back of "The Long, Dark Tea-Time of the Soul" that stated there are 4 books. i guess if it counts. altho, it could be a little iffy. ;)

they're so random, yet cohesive. you don't know even a hint of what's coming next. it's so great. i've yet to find an author with a humor so great on paper. it's hardest to write funny, but Adams makes it seem like breathing.
