How dumb is this! I went to a friends house and I was going to teach her how to headbang. Well I put in "Saviour" And starting headbanging, well I'm supposted to warm up before I do so, but I din't his time. I went back too far and.... Well lets just say I ended up in the ER. I had gottan whiplash!!! ::] :'( It's fummy now but then I had to wear a big chunky neak brace, but the next skillet concert I go to I'm going to tell them the story and get them to sign my neck brace!!! Tell me what you think about that!!! ;D

for being on topic, you get an 8 out of 10.

for this thread being in the right room, a 4 out of 10.

but now it's fixed. ;)

(let's try to keep things In the Frying Pan directly Skillet related. that means, stuff about the band or the members or their CDs. not something you did. :) )

Thank you, Mike!

I spoke to Lori last night in the chat. It was an answer to my prayer when I was depressed. I asked God to "let me know you're here." And he kept Lori up by making her estless long enough to talk to me. Kool, huh? Is that on-topic? lol

Come now...neck braces aren't necessary!!! I bruised my spinal cord and pinched nerves between C2 and C3 in my neck, on top of whiplash. Took about a year to heal. Did I need a neckbrace? of course. Did I use one? HECK NO!! :D

There's no way they were going to get me in a neck brace, after I had been in one for 4 hours on a stretcher in the ER. haha. After I found I wasn't going to be paralyzed. Fun times.

I shall never headbang again. :'(

Skillet still rocks my socks off though

That's a good idea though, sounds funny

I have to teach people to headbang all the time, but they don't...get it alot of the time. :)
It's still fun to teach them

ok, this pertains (in a way) to headbanging so.....

a guy from my yg was taking everyone home after we met (tis a tiny town, so they can do that quite easily ::] ) and he had his .... i think it was newsboys cranked up really loud, and he and pretty much everyone else in the car (have you ever tried to fit 8 people in a tiny car? it doesn't work that well ::] ) were headbanging, and his girlfriend (who was crammed way in the back) kept yelling at him to keep both hands on the wheel and drive... twas most amusing to watch him bob up and down in his seat.... :D yeah.... ye kinda had to be there.... but it was really funny.... :D

when I was 4 my brother decided to see if he could teach me how to head bang and not let my mom find out so he and my other brother taught me to head bang by listening to Guns-n-Roses. So one day my mom went out with her friend and my dad and I were in the basement and he was playing his guitar so I started head banging and I sprained my neck and had to wear a cast for 2 weeks! so that's my lil story about head banging!

You know those nice metal bars they have up front at concerts? Well I was headbanging and the two collided and didnt mix well, and then to add insult to injury I accidently bonked myself with my Skillet... And John laughed at me, I doubt he remembersm it though... ah, good times, good times...

what's funny about this is the fact that when you ask for an opinion that is exactly what your gonna get. Not every opinion is popular or agreed with. I would say the same thing with a couple of winky smiles attatched. And I say that as I am feeling a bit sore from Saturday night. I didn't think it was rude at all. It was just a blunt opinion... In fact I had alot of fun Sat. acting like an idiot. I just didn't sprain my neck... lololol

this doesn't really have anything to do with skillet, but we had to headbang for drumline, and the most blonde (no offense to blondes) brunette you will ever meet couldn't headbang. we worked with her before school, after school, during practice...she just still couldn't do it. she looked like she was riding an aklectic donkey! so for the shows, she just didn't do anything. it was really funny tho!
