For me it had to be winterjam this year. The music and bands were awesome. It was Relient k, Audio Adrenaline, Newsong, Todd Agnew, and Jaidn Maria. But at Carpenter's Home Church in Lakeland we had to all stay in the pews. And I was real sore the next day from Jumping in pews and hitting my knees on the pew in front of me. And if you have ever stood in line to buy Relient K merchandise, you know, that it is hectic.

Also I went to Night of Joy at Disney last year and waited all night to see the Supertones. The time came we went to see them and in the first song Ethan (I think it was him) dislocated his shoulder and the show was over.

Okay, my two worst were at the Sea of Faces concert in April, this girl wanted my spot(I was right in front) and punched me in the jaw, and knocked me over.
I got hit in the jaw various times my people who wanted my spot.

Then, the second time was when my friend left me to go sit with his school friends at a Relient K show, and my neighbor just gabbed with her friend the whole time and ignored me.

I'm sure plenty of people have heard this story, but for me it was at the Radial Angel show in OKC. I waited for them to start playing, along with everyone else (including my friends) in our seats, but once they started playing, I couldn't control myself! I just had to run right up to the stage along with others! How many other people were up there with me? Ten-fifteen other people. The rest of the people stayed in their seats, pouting with their arms crossed. Even when the lead singer tried to get them to come up to the stage ("Ok. Fine. Be that way... you're just not cool,") they just stayed quietly in their seats. Horrible. Dampened everyones spirits.

man that bites. my worst concert ever was Britney Spears.... this was back during the pop craze, but still... i had the urge to move around... stand up... light a lighter.. anything. but everyone else was sitting down and i got yelled at by a security guard for standing up cuz the people behind me couldnt see...

the owrst aftermath tho was Warped tour. over 40 bands... all day... 4 stages and 2 stages for local bands. it was insane. i cracked my neck really badly cuz a guy who was crowdsurfing came down on my head with his studded belt... and it left a huge know on my head...and then some chick decided she would start her very own mosh pit ... only i was the only person she was hitting... and i guess with all the moshing and crowdsurfing and jumping and screaming, i got kinda dehydrated so i was all dizzy and nauseous... lol. but it was great nonetheless. i was sore for 4 days tho

yeah it hurt really bad but it was SO totally worth the memories... besides-- its one of the rules of warped tour... its against tradition to come out of there unhurt. im definately in the minority cuz i got out without bleeding. but im SO going again this year.

I don't get adrenaline in concerts. I don't get a lot of adrenaline, I only get it when I'm upset or around that one girl I know, and even then I usually have to take a multivitamin because of my low metabolism.

The Point of Grace concert I went to during Freshman year. What WAS I thinking? Also, the See Spot Rock concert I went to. My dad was so angry and thinking about the whole thing leaves a bitter taste in my mouth.

hmm? The anger of the concert? Otherwise, I agree that a Point of Grace concert would be "what was I thinking?"

you said it leaves a bitter taste in your mouth to remember it... I meant you dad being mad or the SSR concert? Sorry, I'm not thinking clearly today. it's been a long one.

One of the worst concert experiences I had was at a local concert that two of my friends drug me to. This church has a cool extra building where they have concerts every Saturday night for local Christian bands. It's small, and they sell cokes and cookies and stuff. It's a great idea, but I only knew the two girls I came with and they totally ditched me after about ten minutes of standing. They started flirting with these guys on one of the couches and just left me hanging...plus only the very last band that played was any good. The concert didn't get over til like 11 pm, then the girls didn't want to leave...they wanted to hang around and flirt with those guys. Luckily the guys left like right after the show, but I still didn't get home til like 12:30 am, then had to wake up at 5 am to go to work for 8 hours!!! And at that job I had to stand up for the entire time!! I was SO exhausted after work...I think I dropped like two pizzas and spilled the trash (during work)! I was a zombie!

Oh, man, I feel for ya. I know what it's like to be up late because of... outside influencers, and then having to get up early to go to work... except I had to get up at six and be to work at 7:10... man, it sucks, doesn't it?

^totally! I'm just glad I don't have that job any more...it was just TOO stressful...

I haven't really been to any concerts lately...there aren't really any worth going to around here...

disciple

Amen... around here it's only stupid stuff like Metallica concerts... and even if you like that type of music, the concerts often have drugs, alcohol, and naked women... that would be a bad concert experience...

I still have the job I had then, though, and there might be more surprises in it for me.... good or bad, I do not know...

Yeah i just recently went to a MuteMath/Noise Ratchet/Switchfoot concert last thursday nite & dont get me wrong the bands were frickin AWESOME!!! but the crowd...it was mostly a secular event even tho all the bands are Christians & stuff. lots of ppl were either smokin or drinkin & um jon (lead singer for switchfoot) was crowd surfin & the ppl dropped him :-\. Then there was this gurl crowd surfin & she frickin fell right in front of me & i like kinda caught her & she was freakin out. Then about 4 ppl in front of me started...well...they started gropin each other then skirts started comin off...that was completely disgusting! Other than the beer, smoke, crowd surfing incidents, & the groping...it was an alrite experience...

My worst concert experience would have to be one year at the Inside Out Soul Festival here in New Hampshire, I was watching Relient K and people started "moshing" and this one chick next to me and my best friend Jamie was sitting on our legs. She would NOT get her butt off our legs. If God hadnt given me self control I mightve hit her. lol. The music was awesome though Relient K is so cool live. (That was the same weekend I met Skillet woooooo!!!!) ;)

a lot of you have probably heard this before, but a couple years ago, audio adrenaline and the benjamin gate and some other bands were going on tour (i can't remember what it was). mark stuart from audio a got some kinda strep throat or something and couldn't sing. they had adrienne from the gate sing for them. that was really weird! another, there was a concert at a coffee house that has 8 foot ceilings, and some people tried to crowd surf. i wanted to see what happened to the others before i did it, and most of them had ceiling burn on their foreheads!

Oh yea, I got one it was at the britney spears concert it was HOT as heck. we were at a kiss fm thing and we had to wait 2hrs or so until the concert. The line was huge not to mention we all were sweating like pigs. And thats where I amost fainted my vision was going in and out(the memories)I was dizzy, almost had a heat stroke that day it was great(sarcasm).

So i had to crouch down I was feeling so miseriable. I remember talking to God I was like whats going on and stuff like that. Then we finally, got in and I drunk some lemonade and i felt better yay! Though I had a headache while the concert was going on and girls in the front were acting stupid wont get into that.Oh yea it sucked for now im only going to concerts at night. :)

I think my worst concert was the Relient K concert. The bands opened for them were Roper and Mae, we had the best spots because we were right up in front all most touching the band. Once it was mae's turn to play these 2 like 12 year old girls pushed us out of the way and we ended up in back.

Later we got this huge mosh pit and this girl in front of my fell over on her butt so i tried to help her up by grabbing her armpits and then pulling her up...I forgot how hot it was in there and I ended up with a big blob of sweat from the girls armpit. Nasty huh? I about threw up. So anyways Relient K finally came up. Though i was sad because i lost my girlfriend she was way up front and i was in back and it was impossible to find her. I looked around and and finnaly saw her, I tapped her on the shoulder and gave her a hug then she turned around and it was the wrong girl :-[ I was like Oh woops and just walked away.

And last I lost my cellphone realizing that it had important numbers in it (over the summer i had worked for the owner of Coors Beer, Pete Coors, he had run for senate and i had his number in it) I finnaly found a few hours later, they played well though i was dissapointed because they didnt play "pressin on" my favorite song.
