We have tried to explain the format of General Discussion Forum containing Threads of various topics. You either don't get it or refuse to. As far as bad language goes we answered that also. It will not be tolerated. Not only does the admin, mods, and members of these boards not want bad language on these boards. But also the band doesn't want these boards to be peppered with it. And we all respect that. We all want these boards to be a nice environment to fellowship so we all follow the rules.

I believe he means the deleting of a certain thread... like the one that has a topic about it being deleted? I just wanted to make that clear. I have no standing on this. Carry on.

actualy there is a little more to it than that. but I am real tired and am going to bed cuz I don't want to get to sounding dingy.. and don't anybody say a word about that ;D ;D ;D

Well...as i see it here is our "deal with censorship" on these boards.....we welcome discussions but the idea of a discussion is to state your opinion on the subject and then let others decide if they agree or disagree with you.....the problem is when ppl try to make others agree with their opinion(even if they are right)then it turns into a Jerry Springer atmosphere and thats when action needs to be taken.

As Skilletosis said the band doesnt want it...as a believer i dont want it and most importantly it doesnt edify Christ which should be our main goal.

I try to be pretty lax with the delete/lock button but if things get out of hand(ie: name calling ,crude language etc.) action will be taken....i am prolly wasting my time typing this as you have been told things like this before and didnt listen but what the hey...at least i tried.

Oh and one more thing....in another thread you made a reference as to the age of the mods here..kinda insinuating that we are out of touch with things....well at 44 you may be right....i might not be up on the latest fads....but still everything from a big business to a household needs to run in a orderly manner...and thats what i was asked to do here(btw..i was asked to be a mod by ppl a lot younger then me)...and with Gods help i will try my best to do that.

dude, like the mods said, they always have a reason for locking threads. they don't do it just because they feel like it. the reason that they lock your threads is because you seem to insist on causing trouble and trying to convince everyone to see things exactly the way you do. now, personally, i think it's no wonder that they're starting to get a little fed up.

If you don't like the rules, no one is forcing you to post here. I don't know what the subject is about, but there are reasons we have rules here. One of the reasons being that there are younger kids who also visit these boards ranging from 11 and up. We try to keep it a safe atmosphere for them as well, and again, clean at the request of the band itself.

Don't like it? Don't let the door hit you.

Let me just say i am not fully aware of the subject matter causing this discussion, but since you're accusing mods of something, let me just echo the words of what has been said (and a little of my $0.02).

we used to lock things more than we do now...and we use locking threads as a last resort. and if there is something we are not sure of, the mods get together and we discuss how we each feel with the thread and go from there. we take our positions seriously, and we do not use it to promote our own agenda. but the goal (and purpose) of this site and request of the band.

we want this to be a safe place for kids of all ages to come on and hang out. we are open for discussions and we realize everyone has their own opinion. we just ask that along with that, everyone respects each other's different point of views.

we don't have a lot of rules on this mb, but what we do have, we expect members of this community to respect. it helps everything flow smoothly.

If you have a problem with the way things run around here, then we certainly don't want your bad attitude around and you're more than welcome to leave.

You think these mods are bad? Just be thankful I'm not a mod anymore.

if you want a board where you can say anything you want go to frenzyboard.com, but if youre gonna stay here dont whine about the rules, and just know that the moderators didnt like something that was said in your thread, they run this and have the right to take what they feel is bad off the board.

Yes, at the very beginning. Before the PH-AY merge, back when it was just the PH boards, I was a mod. I helped with the development for the site for about two years.

Personally I find the rules and enforcement here pretty relaxed, I know Christian sites where there are LOTS more rules and they are heavily enforced (They've had alot of problems in the past, so its understandable the way they enforce them.)

I think the mods do an excellent job here, this is one of the safest and cleanest Christian boards on the net and believe me I've visited quite a few!

I haven't been on here long, But I do respect the band and the mods. I have to agree with Terrasin, you don't have to come here, if you want to that's fine but don't have an attitude just because people are trying to keep this a clean place. Your last post showed some attitude, it's not our fault you can't see that. And if your going to keep up with that attitude of yours you need to leave, so you won't affect others. Don't trip and fall on your way out.

And I think the point is that isinginmycar has never heard of "Pointless Posts" so he keeps trying to make his own version of that thread. I'm not sure. Don't take me wrong. Just maing a point. :-\
