I was wondering if anyone knew a place where I could make a site. I'm not talking about Angelfire, Tripod, or Geocities. I want a nice, free place to make a site. And if anyone is willing to host me, that'd be great as well. :o

Heya skelf, you can make a site for free on http://members.freewebs.com/ , its really the only one I have ever come accross... There are no pop up adds, and I think its nice... But its not that grand or anything... Its something though...

But I am new to the site making, anyone know anything better? I am also interested in this.

There's no such thing as free web-hosting. www.brinkster.com is another alternative to the sites you've listed but it does have some ads unless you pay a little bit of money and bandwidth is pretty limited if you plan to have a ton of traffic and offsite linking is not allowed, of course.

My favorite has to be www.eccentrix.net. The guy who runs it is very fair. It does have a popup but any good popup blocker will keep it from hoping on screen. Other than that, I hosted my site there for 2 years before I moved to my own host.

Thanks for the help guys. I am currently using geocities right now and everything runs fine. Yeah. So I caved. :o No pop ups so far. And usually if I've seen em in other people's sites, its in the right hand corner. No biggie.

I guess what I should have asked for was help with frames. Anyone know how to tackle this html problem? I know some html, but these frames give me a headache.

Free web hosting doesnt exist, my brothers so good at scabbing... http://www.nrlland.com, *i designed the site, than he killed my design, but anyway*, free domain name, 100 meg of space, unlimited bandwith, he pays nothing! no adds, absolutely nothing, thats were nagging gets ya.
