I want a cat! Last nite I decided this. I would get it declawed, and get this cute lil bed for it. and get this spical cat food for it. And I'll name it Tina.. Tina the cat. Then I guess I need cat toys. I'll get lots of those. Oh, geez, this will be so grand. Now, its just a matter of my parents. We had 7 cats long ago.. like when I was seven. I miss them. Yeah, they did urinate and poo in the flower bed, and sand box.. but I still miss them. *tears*

I also have cat ear headbands that I wear on occasion. In fact, I should wear them today! MUAHAHA :o

8) I am wearing my cat ears. 8)
I know, it's incredibly geeky. But I'm okay with it, which is really all that matters- right?
My cat is fat. Maybe I'll get a pic or something. She's incredibly vicious to all but me. HAHAHA. She hisses at my friends and makes them BLEED.

sounds like my friend's cat... she hates me.... perhaps it's just cuz i hiss back when she yowls at me... but she deliberatly... deliberately... bah. can't spell today. anyway, she attacks me all the time.... ::]
and garth, cat ears aren't geeky. yer cat hoodie is unbelievably cool. :afro: :D

awww thanks for the compliment. :D I like my cat ears. They're fun. It makes an incredibly fun shadow when the sun is behind me.
Of course, my cat is only really mean because of what I told my friends to do. My cat hates to have her stomach petted, and i told my friends "pet her tummy, she LOVES it." So, everytime my friends go to pet her, she bites, hisses, etc. It's quite entertaining.

Xina! That's really funny, but so cruel! Well, I had this convo with my rents.. ok more or less .5 secs:
ME: Hey Mom, Can I have a kitty cat?
MOM: Where did you get that idea from? You dont want a cat..they are stinky.
ME: So... I'll train
MOM: You can't train a cat, they are born trained. *pause* Go talk to your dad.. MIKE!!!
ME: [skips into the bedroom where my dad is] Daddy, can I have a cat?
DAD: You don't want a cat. They are stinky. Remeber all the cats we used to have?
ME: That was when I was little.
DAD: When school starts and you still have a cat on your mind, then we will talk about it.
ME: I will get it with my own money, feed it with my own money, declaw it with my own money, and train it with my own money.
{end of talk}

the whole declawing thing bugs me.... a bit of advice, if you don't know of anyone who's cat is having kittens here's what you do. Call the local vets, they usualy have a bulletin board where people post things like that. I got ours from the vet tech.

I use to have a Siamese cat who was a complete brat. He would sit at my door and meow at night, scratch the heck out of me, ect.
I remember one night I was sitting at the computer after work. I worked graveyard so I was still awake when everyone was waking up. Anyways, my kitty jumped up on my shoulders like he always did and was sleeping soundly. Next thing I know, one of my roommates walked over to me and she was like, "Oh, good morning CJ" *WACK!* She smacks the cat and I feel claws digging into my back as it slides down. I'm glad the blood washed off my shirt.

ROFL!!!!
my birds are sorta like that... they'll let me do almost anything to them, but they don't like being petted on their backs.... and what's the first thing a person tries to do when they see a pet bird? pet its back, of course, the morons. honestly.... it only takes a little bit of thought to realize that most birds hate it because in the wild that's how most predators get them... grabbing them around the backs... so anyway, they try and pet it, and then they get bitten... and it's quite funny...
but i'm off topic.
uh....
my poor kitty... stupid coyotes.... they've eaten almost all my cats..... there was one kitten that i had for a week, maybe... then we think that either a raccoon or a coyote got her.... then... well, there've been several. ::] but mom doesn't like indoor kitties, so all of our kitties have been barn kitties... which, of course, coupled with the fact that we've always lived in the middle of nowhere, explains why they're always eaten... ::] :P

A lot of people have cats misunderstood. Not all cats rub up against you, or bite and scratch. Not all cats purr, either. My cats don't rub up against me, or bite and scratch. When they want attention though, they'll let me know. And they like to play. I've never heard of a cat salivating, unless he/she has rabies, dental problems, etc, or there's something wrong with him/her...
The whole thing about cats not being smarter than dogs isn't true. You can train cats to do certain tasks, (e.g. opening a door, fetching this or that, etc.) they just have a different way of learning.
I love cats because they're cleaner than dogs...dogs, to me, just have a grotesque way of eating...and an odor about them...I don't know...dogs just kind of gross me out. Cats are dainty, delicate. And they don't slobber all over you. Nothing against dogs, I'm just more of a cat person.

The Siamese cat we used to have was soo pretty. He was my grandpa's old cat. {he gets a new one every 10 yrs or so..} then we had this rare calaco [spell] come to us. It was weird her kittens were black, and sand colored. Then we had another one of my grandpa's cat. She had a problem with hair balls. And she more or less my sister's cat.
