Hey guys,

MXPX is going to be at house of blue's..great! We are probably going but im not sure if they curse and junk on stage the whole if there christian or not confuses me, its just them so no other bands so to anyone who has been to there concerts - do they curse on stage?

is MxPx a christian band? i read that it was, but after hearing some of their songs, im not so sure. anybody know?

A few songs they've written do mention God and Christ. More so in their "Pokinacha" and "Slowly Going the Way..." days. Those were the best CDs by them. I'm not a huge fan of the newer stuff they've released.

They have a very popular mainstream crowd, but I don't know if they personally profess to being a "Christian" band.

The guys in the band are Christians. They used to play music that would nicely fit in the little box that we call the "Christian Music Industry", but like many other bands that I have a lot of respect for, they've chose to distance themselves from the Christian Music Industry.

All I know is I have to agree with riz. Slowly going the way of the buffalo is as good as it gets. I'd take that farther to say that that is the only cd of theirs I like in addition to the song gsf which is one the live cd I have.

Am i alone or does anyone else like/love MxPx??
