'tis an awesome and funny movie. It definitely doesn't fall for the cliché that many Action flicks have these days. No romance! Aciotn-Comedy rocks...

how often do you scream?

10-25-2004, 06:03 PM
Harldy ever, I am a very quiet person, I usually don't talk hardly at all either.

How often do you laugh?

10-25-2004, 06:05 PM
Often. Whether it's because I'm nervous, faking it, or because I find something funny, there isn't a day I don't laugh anymore 'cause of this message board or its chat room. :)

Do you ever feel really lonely, only to wake up the next day and you don't?

10-25-2004, 06:09 PM
No, I pretty much wake up lonely everyday and stay that way.

How often do you feel "down"?

10-25-2004, 06:11 PM
At random. Lately, it's at night. Which is strange. Kinda like Nocturnal Depression or something. ;) Although, while I consider my mood placid, many would consider my mood down right now. So, nocturnally is my answer.

What's something about you that is nocturnal only?

10-25-2004, 06:19 PM
Um pretty much everything I do is nocturnal. I work at night, I do homework at night, usually when I get on the net its at night, I write and draw at night too. Well dang, I'm sorry to that I have to get off. I need to do my homework. I shall return (oh jeez, I sound like MacArthur).

Know anyone, besides me, who's bipolar?

10-25-2004, 06:21 PM
lol... MacArthur...

My older sister suspects it. I don't believe so, though. So my answer would be no.

Do you know anyone who's histrionic?

10-25-2004, 07:40 PM
??? I don't know.

What the heck does histrionic mean?

10-25-2004, 07:42 PM
I mean the personality disorder, not like the dictionary word, but histrionic... Someone who is overly dramatic about everything, to an unhealthy degree, just to get attention.

Do you know anyone who has OCD? :P

10-25-2004, 07:55 PM

Did you know that schizophrenia is different than dissociative identity disoder (multiple personalities)?

10-25-2004, 08:01 PM
Yes, I did. I am a psychology freak. :P You should see my Xanga. I made a sort-of mini-article on my findings from Sunday when I examined a couple articles on certain studies. My findings are inconclusive without a study, but hey, I try, right?

hmmm... how often do you write poetry?

10-25-2004, 08:12 PM
I write whenever I feel I need to. Boy, there's a cryptic answer! ;D Well I write at random times, you know whenever inspiration strikes me (I even take a notebook to work with me!).

Who's your favorite poet?

10-25-2004, 08:14 PM
Dang, I wish I could write at random more often... you know, so often that taking a notebook with me is necessary...

A tie between Poe and Rober Frost.

What's your favorite book of all time?

10-25-2004, 08:23 PM
Batman No Man's Land by Greg Rucka. Awesome book. Read it and then tell me that the Joker is not the creepiest, scariest villain ever.

Ok, I feel I should elaborate a little. I take a notebook with me cause I do more than right. I also do things like come up with random characters that I might or might not use later, so I right down basic info on their appearance and personality as I come up with it so I don't forget.

Btw, Poe ROCKS!! 8)

Anyway, I'm gonna copy, whats your favorite book?

10-25-2004, 08:26 PM
I can't just say "The Bible" because 'Bible' means "Books" so it's more than one. :D

I'll have to say the Harry Potter books. How she can still capture the minds of people of all ages still amazes me. If I become half as good as her, I will have succeeded.

I was gonna ask you 'favorite animal' but that's a no-brainer. :P

[Poe so rocketh 8)]
What's your... favorite... fruit? :P

10-25-2004, 08:29 PM

What's your favorite anime?

10-25-2004, 08:31 PM

Ay, that's tough... I don't know a lot of anime. That is, I haven't seen any good 'uns 'cept Saiyuki and maybe Card Captors... Tenchi Muyo... yeah, that's all I can remember.

Do you prefer upbeat music over slow-paced, intricate music?

10-25-2004, 08:36 PM
it depends on what mood I am in. If I want to dance then upbeat music but if I am in a tired slow mood then slow music.

Have you ever wanted to be a pirate.

10-25-2004, 08:37 PM
Only sometimes.

Have ever heard of (or read any for that matter) Robert A. Heinlein?

10-25-2004, 08:38 PM
lol. I know who that was for.

nope and nope.

Ever heard of the Seven Sleepers Series? I doubt it.

10-25-2004, 08:41 PM
Then you'd be right.

Favorite genre of videogame?

10-25-2004, 08:42 PM
Ahh... RPG? Platformer? A tie between the two.

Ever heard of ActRaiser or ActRaiser 2?

10-25-2004, 08:49 PM
Yeah, but only cause you've mentioned em on here before.

Ever heard or A.R.M.O.R.I.N.E.S. Project Swarm?

10-25-2004, 08:50 PM

I think they should make an ActRaiser 3D or something...

Do you prefer Metroid side-scrolling or FPS?

10-25-2004, 08:57 PM
Well I do live for the first person shooters but, OLD-SCHOOL SIDE-SCROLLING ALL THE WAY BABY!! 8)

Do you like fps games?

10-25-2004, 08:58 PM

Yes, I enjoy some. Heck, I might enjoy dang near all of them, but I've only played one! ::]

What's your favorite FPS?

10-25-2004, 09:05 PM
Oh jeez, I have a lot of favorite FPS games. GoldenEye 007, Perfect Dark, Quake 3 Arena, Unreal Tournament 2004, Painkiller, Medal of Honor Frontline, Soldier of Fortune 1 and 2, Half Life, Doom or rather the Doom series, HALO. I'm sure there are more but I can't think right now.

Which one did you play?

10-25-2004, 09:10 PM
Serious Sam: Next Encounter :D It's an awesome game, really. The easier, the better. 8)

Which game would you recommend for a first-timer with little experience?

10-25-2004, 09:20 PM
Serious Sam is pretty good, and pretty good ofr beginners (I think anyway). Hmmm, GoldenEye 007 on N64 would proly work out pretty good for ya. Maybe Painkiller if your computer can take it, well I think its easy anyway. If you really wanted too you could go from 007 to Perfect Dark quite easily, there are pratically the same game only with slight graphical differences and PD is a little harder. Hope that helps.

Ain't late night goofin fun??

10-25-2004, 09:24 PM
Oh, yeah, definitely. Especially when it's with someone who knows what I'm talking about, for the most part. :P

Meh, I'll have to experiment. I'll end up getting my butt fried in SOCOM, but at least I can say I tried.

And Serious Sam rocks... only 'cause you get to use cool guns, go into a 'rampage mode' of sorts, and you just get to ... blast away endlessly at enemies. Do you like to do that?

10-25-2004, 09:29 PM
Why do you think I put Soldier of Fortune 1 and 2 and Perfect Dark on there? ;D SOF 1 and 2 I can hack and turn cheats on, and PD I just go into the combat sim put on 8 stupid computer players and have fun with the slaughter!

OH! Another good one is Red Faction 2.

Anyway, favorite RPG?

10-25-2004, 09:30 PM
Chrono Trigger, hands down.

10-25-2004, 09:32 PM
Phantasy Star Online Epsidode 1 & 2.

Play racing games at all?

10-25-2004, 09:34 PM
Yeah. Even though I prefer weapons-based ones (the last Wipeout game was also the last of this genre) I still keeo my hopes up that they'll return to those roots. I like the racing part in Ratchet & Clank: Going Commando... just shows that someone out there still cares for weapons-based racing. Heck, for all I care, people can have the option to turn the weapons off... just let me have my weapons back!

What's your favorite Racing game?

10-25-2004, 09:39 PM
Hmmmm, I've played a lot of good ones, with weapons and without. I'm gonna have to go with Rush 2049 though, the combat mode won me over. ;D

Did you know that western Kansas is basically a cultural wasteland unless you're into country/western stuff or sports?

10-25-2004, 09:41 PM
Not really, but I can believe it. :P

And Rush 2049 is awesome. I really liked it. The Racing mode felt like an adventure with the Keys and the combat mode was fun... :D

Did you ever play Jet Force Gemini?

10-25-2004, 09:45 PM
No I never did, I wanted to, but I never got around to it.

My friends and I used to play 2049 for hours on end.

Have you ever played Soul Caliber 2?

10-25-2004, 09:46 PM
So, darn it! I wanted to, I had the chance twice, but I never got around to it.

I'm sure you have. Favorite character?

10-25-2004, 09:51 PM
Heck I own it! ;D Great game. Favorite character from SC2? Hmmm, it's a tie between Kilik and Link.

Ever played Knights of the Old Republic?

10-25-2004, 09:52 PM I want to, though... psshhh, not to mention I just got my PS2 last year and I only own 3 games. :P

Are the Doom games any good?

10-25-2004, 10:01 PM
KOTOR is an awesome game. Can't wait for the sequel.

:o :o :o :o :o :o

I can't believe you asked that!! DOOM is what got me hooked on fps games!! DOOM 3 is reputed to have the best advancement to video gaming technology since true 3-D movement in the original DOOM! I cannot wait for DOOM 3 to come out for XBOX, looks like it might actually scare me.

:-[ Sorry. Didn't mean to go off like that. Yes the DOOM games are very good.

Jet Force Gemini any good? :P

10-25-2004, 10:06 PM
LOL!! (I knew the Doom games were good, but I'm glad to hear they won't disappoint me.)

:o :o :o :o :o :o ;)

Okay, jokes aside, yea, it's pretty good. Not FPS, but it's what got me interested in the idea of FPS. The secrets are neat, the weapons are way cool, the enemies (insect/ant aliens) aren't quite frightening, but they are fun to eliminate (they splatter all over! They have settings for it and a secret "Rainbow Blood" option) and the multiplayer is somewhat mediocre, but still fun. Three playable characters, one of which is a dog. :P

Is Doom 3 coming out on the PS2? I hope so!

10-25-2004, 10:10 PM
Hmm, Jet Force Gemini sounds cool. Maybe I'll look for it when I go to EB Games to pick up HALO 2.

Uhm....I'm sorry to say I doubt it. As I recall Microsoft owns the rights to it. And well Bill gates is kinda possesive. Stupid jerk just HAD to buy Rareware before they finished the Perfect Dark sequel on Gamecube... >:(

Is your computer good enough to run DOOM 3?

10-25-2004, 10:13 PM
I don't think so. It sounds like it's having troubles playig music, as is. It wasn't always this bad. >:(

And yes, Bill Gates is possessive. ARGH! I'm still fuming about them buyin' Rareware. We'll never ever soo another Banjo-Kazooie or Killer Instinct game again. >:(

I'll check ... I think I saw an ad for Doom on there, somewhere.

Do you go to said ^website?

10-25-2004, 10:20 PM
Nope, I don't own a Playstaion 2. At least not yet, but the only reason I want one is for games like Time Crisis, so its not to likely I'll ever get one.

What really hacks me off about Gates buying Rareware is that at first they kept the Perfect Dark sequel going they just moved it to XBOX, but then they pushed it like three years and as far as I know they cancelled it at some point cause I can't find any info on it newer than two years ago!!

You like arcade style shooters like Time Crisis, House of the Dead, etc.?

10-25-2004, 10:24 PM
Meh, haven't played any other than Duck Hunt. :P

How often does you computer freeze?

10-25-2004, 10:27 PM
Not very. But it has other problems.

Do you like my new sig?

10-25-2004, 10:29 PM
Yes, it's cool. 8) Vash sounds so cool.

Hmmm... you're "In the dark with the music on," are you wishin' you were somewhere else? :D

10-25-2004, 10:34 PM
lol, well not right now anyway...

You ever feel like that?

10-25-2004, 10:34 PM
Yeah. Not too often, but sometimes.

Do you ever feel like a pushover?

10-25-2004, 10:37 PM
yeah, sometimes.

do you ever feel like a fruitcake?

10-25-2004, 10:38 PM
HECK NO! Believe me when I say that if I don't want to do something, NO ONE can make me do it.

So I take it you've never seen Trigun?

10-25-2004, 10:40 PM
...nope. I will, though. When I get around to it. And I am sure you were answering my question. ;)

...Do you ever feel like you have no idea what is going to happen the next day?

10-25-2004, 10:43 PM
Yes I was. But...stupid dial up connection!!!

I feel like that all the time.

Do you ever wish you were someone else?

10-25-2004, 10:44 PM
yeah. like everyday...

do you ever feel like you have no idea what is going to happen yesterday?

10-25-2004, 10:46 PM
LOL! Yes, sadly. :D

Do you ever feel like you have no idea who you are?

10-25-2004, 10:47 PM
Again, all the time...

You like drawing?

10-25-2004, 10:48 PM
I like it, yes, but am I any good at it? No.

Do you play any instruments?

10-25-2004, 10:53 PM
Tried violin once, and I'm learning guitar.

10-25-2004, 10:55 PM
I played Violin for a while as well. Some day I want to fix my Dad's old one. I also played the trumpet, but I want to get a guitar. I am getting in touch with my inner Latino...

Do you prefer electric guitar over acoustic?

10-25-2004, 10:58 PM
Most of the time yes.

How about you? Electric or acoustic?

10-25-2004, 11:00 PM

10-28-2004, 09:38 AM

Un-knowlegeable...if they are humble they are easy to train...thats how I became pres of our drama club...

Are you quirky?

10-28-2004, 03:02 PM
Yes, much of the time.

Do you ever feel confused about who you are as a person?

10-28-2004, 03:05 PM
Dude I am merely a confused person...J/k ...the entire time we are teenagers/young adults we are 'supposed' to be confused about who we are...
How do you define who you are?

10-28-2004, 03:11 PM
Through my love of Christ and my interests in other things. Otherwise, the rest confuses me, like emotions and all that.

Do you think that teenagers who "aren't confused" are actually more blind than those who openly acknowledge their confusion?

10-28-2004, 03:24 PM
Not necessarily, they just refuse to admit that they are confused. And that can be a bad thing, denying that can cause misery.

Why all the serious questions?

10-28-2004, 03:33 PM
'Cause I am confused. :P

Are you?

10-28-2004, 03:41 PM
Oh. Yes I am confused. In more ways than one.

Do you think deep depression is normal?

10-28-2004, 03:45 PM
No. Mild depression can happen to anybody. When self-injury is involved, it's usually serious. When one is critically suicidal, that's major depression. Anyone with major depression should seek counseling and possibly psychiatric help, depending on age (anti-depressants cause many under the age of 18 to become suicidal once the drug exits the system).

Mild depression can just show up and disappear over time. Many teens experience some symptoms of depression, one way or another. But when it's serious and persistant (over a span of two-to-four weeks and so on) it's called clinical depression, not just "feeling down."

Did you ever experience some sort of social anxiety?

10-28-2004, 04:36 PM
Yeahhh... I guess. I'm not anti-social or anything, I'm just not comfortable around people. I'm coming out of it though.

10-28-2004, 04:53 PM

10-28-2004, 05:14 PM
Not as much as almonds.

So what would you call being depressed for around 2 or 2 and half years?

10-28-2004, 05:17 PM
Depends if it's constant and unwavering. If you can sometimes go a month without being fully depressed, it may be just the normal 'teenaged' thing. If not, seeking counsel/ing would be a wise choice, because otherwise not would be inviting risk.

Can you go a week without feeling deeply depressed?

10-28-2004, 05:20 PM
Depends on how my week is lol.

Did you know that the Iraqi *&%$@!s took the weapons cache before we went to war with them and that Kerrys says that its the soldiers fault?
