Woohoo....! Static-X has a new cd coming out next year, this is even more exciting than Stainds new cd. Not to mention that Static-X is a great band with some huge talent, that talent was clearly displayed on the current album Shadow Zone. Let's just hope the new album is as good, or even better!

Ohhhhhh.........!? Their heaviest yet, eh? Well that's fine with me, I like rocking out to heavy music, it get's you're blood pumping really good. And for those who are not too familiar with Static-X's music, just go to their website or download some music off of Kazaa. I'm sure you'll like a lot of their music.
Oh, and...I'm not an AFI fan. I don't like the singers voice at all, sorry.

Talent? Well here is my opinion on Static-X now keep in mind this is comming from a guitarist / Studio Engineer. One thing that was good about the last album was Josh Freese. He was the only talent on that cd. He did a great job filling in for them until they got there new drummer. Also not sure if your a mudderdolls fan but the solos that tripp played were alot more technical compared to any of his static-x "one finger solos." Static-X was cool back in the day befor Slipknot came around. It seems like bands like Slipknot just kinda pushed over static-x and took the spotlight. Ohh yeah one last thing I will be buying this cd but lets hope this time all the songs don't sound the same and lets hope Wyane can change his voice a little its getting kinda old.

Yes, I knew that Tripp was in Muderdolls...and there's more talent in Static-X then just the guy that filled in the drums for them...
