This thread is for posting pictures of your musical instruments. If you have a really cool instrument, be sure to post a pic of it here. This isnt limited to just guitars people.... If you play like a band (school band) instrument, post it too!!!!

Ill post mine eventually, my camera is broken right now....

When I get the parts and finishing solution, I will post before - and maybe after - photos of my Dad's violin. Then it'll be mine, and I will be happy. Of course, I don't know how much bows go for nowadays... anyone have any idea?

Heres mine...yeha Old school...80s Ibanez Bass. I love it; bought it off of Ebay for $171 with the case...love it, and the color...

I have a viola too, but thats nothin special to look at...actually, my friends said it looked like it went through 3 worlds and maybe the vietname...hmmm

And come to think of it, behind the bass case...there is a guitar case with a guitar in it. it's an epiphone but i havnt touched it in forever...

You can find bows for decent prices online, but there's no telling how good they really are. I've found them for under $30, but they're made cheap cuz they're for beginners. And then there's bows that go for around $2,000 or more. So it just depends on how much you want to spend and what quality of bow you are wanting.

And if I could ever figure out how to successfully upload a picture, I'd show a pic of my electric violin.

I can't spend a lot, but I want a bow that's quality enough to last a very long time.

And I know, there's no such thing as high-quality and inexpensive. ::]

Lol, if you get one...heres a little piece of advice: Get one with 5 strings so you can do viola stuff too, pretty handy if you like low end stuff....

But then again, I'm seeing it form the point of view as a violist, as I hate going to higher positions so another string wouldbe nice...lol

Disciple, you can make a cheaper bow last a long time as long as you take good care of it. I have a very cheap bow that's still intact. I've had it for at least 9 years. Granted, I've had to have it repaired a couple of times due to accidents caused by careless people, but it hasn't been bad. I don't know how much it cost because I got it along with a violin that cost $250 including bow, case and rosin.

Yeah, that's one of my bases, except my F-205 is titanium color. It's a great bass. I also got a LTD-B 104 bass, a BC Rich Platinium Beast electric guitar, and LTD H-1000 electric guitar. I try to get some kind o pics of them up when I have time, whether They're my guitars or pics of the same modles. Oh yeah and I'm about to get a Mesa Boogie Triple Recto, which is pretty sweet. But I need it for my band thats getting up and running. I love LTD/ESP and intend to buy all LTD/ESP guitar stuff. But my BC Rich is cool, it sounds great but you could kill some one, if you know which guitar I'm talking about. There is no way I would swing that guitar over my shoulder like a do with my LTD 'cause it would cause a massive massacre.

Yeah, I tried it and it did the same thing. All you can do is visit http://www.yamahadrums.com/ and follow these steps:
1. Click on the "Products" tab. It will then show you a menu page with options like "Accessories" and "Percussion".
2. Click on the "Acoustic Kits" link or the acoustic kit picture. It will then show a page with all these drum sets and options underneath the pictures.
3. Click on the "Stage Custom" link, or the drum set that's blue with two cymbals. It will then show you four options on the page.
4. Click on the "Stage Custom Advantage Nouveau" link, or the drum set that's red and has two cymbals. It will show you a page that has the specs, finishes and options on the kit, plus a pic of the drumset (plus a few cymbals that I already own).
If you want an enlarged picture of the set, click on "Enlarge Picture" and it will scale it up for you.

perhaps i've only played spruce taylors... for some reason i don't care for the tone. every taylor i've played, even the $3,000 plus models, don't thrill me as much as my acousitc.

i do have to agree, though, that Martins are something special. guitar center has one that's quite beautiful, and i were rich i would buy it.

i am bringing this thread to life instead of starting another one...

the latest member of my musical family. Sydney (http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v298/space_angel/equipment/Sydney.jpg) - a Fender American Precision Bass.

(and i got an Ampeg BA-115 (http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v298/space_angel/equipment/ampeg_ba_115.jpg) for the bass amp.

it works for what i was looking for. :)

This is an outline of my present drumset, according to DW Drums (I play a 6 piece Yamaha Stage Custom Advatage Nouveau in Cherry Red finish). Cymbals are all Zildjian in a briliant (aka pollished) finish and all Attack drumheads. Cymbal stands by DW drums.

Also came with the Yamaha Flying Dragon Double Bass Drum pedal. Oh, yeah! :D

i use Godin bass some times its hot rodded out with Seymour Duncan basslines. Godins pick ups are bland. The only stock pick ups i like are Fender or Gibson except Fender bass pick ups.
