that'd be awesome if you could go!! to bad they dont come to Canada, and it would cost too much to drive or fly. :'( oh well, maybe they'll come back up here soon.

Well aren't you spiteful.

Don't lose heart just yet, my fellow Californians. There are still tour dates open around the time they'll be in Arizona [Phoenix and Tucson] and you know how it's gone in the past. HopSkipJump. New dates are popping up everyday. Including a northern Cali date for April that appeared a couple days ago.. though, that wouldn't be a "Collide Tour" show.

I'm thankful now that I've seen the new tour dates in more than one place, but when are they going to post the venues for Jan. in Wisconsin? I need a little more info than "Madison and Milwaukee" in order to come. What am I supposed to do drive around the entire town until I hear people's faces getting rocked off? I even checked out they're booking agent's site and he doesn't even have the dates yet. They better post them soon or I won't have time to get a big group together...

The venue's prolly still getting settled. Give it time. The Jan 8's show wasn't finalized until just the other day! I know because I'm trying to get to it.

Kankakee and Indianapolis are both just over 2 hours away from me, and it would take me about 2 1/2 hours to get to either of the suburb-like towns Galesburg and whatever the Indianapolis one was. So, for me, it's just a matter of more convenient date now ;).

I just got back from the concert in sunny and warm Toledo; it was incredible. Kids in the Way is a great band. I hadn't heard them play before (except for one song online), and they put on a great show.

This is the longest and most eclectic set of songs Skillet has played, at least for me. When they said that they'd be playing some old stuff, they definitely meant it.

Here is what they played; it'd take too much work to put it all in order:

Forsaken
Savior
Open Wounds
My Obsession
Collide
Imperfection
Energy
Alien Youth
Will You Be There?
Best Kept Secret
You Take My Rights Away
Rest
Powerful
Locked in a Cage
More Faithful
I Can
Saturn
My Beautiful Robe

Yes, all those (I think that's all of 'em). When John started talking about playing a song they'd never done before, I didn't expect him to play My Beautiful Robe. Saturn was a nostalgic encore song along with I Can. And nice solos by Ben and Lori. Some of the crowd tried to get John and company to play "Stand" but they didn't. It was crazy fun, nonetheless. Have fun everyone, whichever concert you'll be attending!

We are finishing up the routing for the tour, including our first ever trip to the Grammys! I am not expecting much, but it is very cool to be nominated. I also want to mention that we are on the cover of "Christian Guitar and Bass Player" magazine. Also included is Third Day, Mercy Me, Sanctus Reel, and Underoath (who I think rocks faces). You can get these mags at guitar shops, music stores, etc.

yeah, the last half of 2004 had four (count em!) Skillet concerts. We really hit the jackpot last year. haha.

Doylestown, PA June 6th 2004
PennState, PA September 25th 2004
Chambersburg, PA November 19th 2004
and some other one in PA on November 21st 2004 (couldn't make it)

plus they had one in Salisbury on the 20th of November.

edit: they're playing in Virginia (http://www.panheads.org/boards/showthread.php?t=2678) next month, and are playing in New York during April. Maybe you can make it to one of those?

February 2005 Truth or Consequences Collide Tour
February 2005 Albuquerque Collide Tour
