So, as the arrival of kotor 2 is soon, who is getting it? It looks like its going to be a great game, averaging 50 hrs of gameplay.

I'm getting it when I get back from Michigan in January because I doubt anyone's gonna give it to me as a present. Anygame with 50 hours of gameplay is worth getting, whether it's made by Bioware or not. ;D

Did I not just say "Buy an XboX just to play that game"? That means I haven't played any XboX game. ::]

Remember I can't play PC games with my *kicks his computer* PC.

Don't worry, i just got back from holiday E3, in Phoenix, over thanksgiving. It was great. Obsidian, did a great job on both gameplay and controls. Not much advancement in the graphics, but thats not the main thing.

Obsidian is made up of people who used to work at bioware anyways. People who worked on lots of it's really great games... Bioware's the one who picked 'em to work on it, so it should be all good.

I hope I get it. My brother has the Xbox and I don't live at home anymore. I asked for an Xbox for Christmas (w/ Halo 2 and KOTOR 2... not gonna happen :)) though, and I'll probably get it over the summer if I don't get it or anything. But I love the first KOTOR. I cracked up playing it so many times. :)

I just started playing KOTOR 2 the other night. So far, it fricking rocks! I wanna say it's even better than the first, but I really dunno. I mean, the story has been good, fresh, original enough (basically, everything's been done before, but at least what's happened has seemed cool), and star-warsy again. It's basically the same system and graphics with tweaks to make things look sharper, smoother, and nicer. There's more face models for the NPC's, and they have slightly more detail. So many reviewers complain about how the system wasn't re-vamped. honestly - screw them, lol. It looks like Obsidian has done it's job...

the first time i finished the game, the ending, i think, was dissapointing. but the second time i finished it, the ending seemed more rewarding.
when you come to the end of the game, ask kreia all the questions you can. she'll tell you what will happen to your party members and all the planets you visited on your quest. she also says something that's from the lord of the rings. (not intentionaly, but it is cool to here her say it)

Unfortunately, it didn't come with an instruction manual. :-\ So I have a horrible first impression and am stuck, because it doesn't tell me what to do.

Belay that order...

When at the video store, I saw KOTOR 2 and picked one of the boxes out from behind it. When I got home half an hour later, I had a difficult time adjusting to its controls, but I eventually got a handle on it.

Next day, read up on KOTOR 2 online; the gameplay mechanics, the orientation, and then the guide. Page 1 mentioned nothing of "the Endar Spire."

Then I realized it: They placed a KOTOR 1 game behind a KOTOR 2 box, and sent me home with the wrong game. So I studied all that KOTOR 2 stuff for NOTHING!! >:(

Needless to say, it went back the next day, and my Dad rented X-Men Legends.

Then just don't put her in your party :P. Easy as that. In the first one bashing was safer, and the robot was mroe usefu anyway, if you wanted a member with skills. I liked 3 jedi anyhow, that's the best combo.

been seein alot on the developers, Obsidian. They are actually a part of Bioware. Because of the big success of KOTOR I, Obsidian ws created to deal with the RPGs (no not rocket-propelled grenades) that came Bioware's way.
