I play (lead) guitar for a band that doesn't really have a name yet. The bassist and myself are the founding members. He is one of the best bassists I've ever heard, and he can improvise better than anyone. We just had a new member join, our lead singer, who has a great voice and is an awesome screamer, and is also a musical genius. Him and I are the main songwriters. We're kind of "borrowing" I guess the drummer from a local band, and he's the best in the area. Anyway, we play metal/hard rock music, with influences from Demon Hunter, Disciple, and Killswitch Engage. We've gotten permission to play covers from Pillar, Thousand Foot Krutch, Demon Hunter, Killswitch Engage, and Skillet. We have maybe 3 or 4 complete songs written. We write mainly about pain and suffering and how to deal with it. You can view a song I wrote here (http://www.christianguitar.org/forums/showthread.php?t=89185). This is the only song that we have posted anywhere right now. We will start doing some serious gigging in late January-early February. Anyway, here's the gear I have (some of which after Christmas):
Guitars: Epiphone Les Paul Elitist Custom and Baker B1 Black Shadow
Amp: Ibanez Toneblaster 100W head and 4x12 cab
Effects: Ibanez TS808 TubeScreamer, Boss BF2 Flanger, Boss TU-2 Tuner, Dunlop Dimebag Custom Wah, MXR M102 DynaComp Compressor/Sustainer
Accessories: pedal board, SingerWorks Wireless System

I play the kazoo. A shiny red one. ;D
But seriously, I used to play keyboard and am just starting to get back into it. I can play anything with my right hand. But my left hand is retarded and can't do squat. :-\

I'm presently joining a band called Shelflyfe but I've been in numerous bands and I've recorded with those bands but I've neither had the time nor the energy to go out and listen to my work. Anyhoo, I have a complete list on this website:
http://profiles.myspace.com/users/8005823Oh, and I play drums, keyboards, bass, guitar and I sing, but not very good. :)
Equipment:Yamaha 5-piece Stage Custom Nouveau in the Red Sparkle finish, Zildjian Planet Z crash, ride and hi-hat, Avedis Zildjian Rock Crash, 2 Wuhan chinas, Sabian B8 china splash, Paiste 806 series crash, Evans G2 Genera heads, Pro-Mark Rock Knockers, Vic Firth American Classic Peter Erskine sicks, Fender Squire Stratocaster, Yamaha bass, GHS strings, Crate amps, Digitek effects, Korg keyboards, Pacific Drums and Percussion boom stands, Pearl cymbal stand, and Sound Percussion. Whew!
Edit:Never mind about Shelflyfe. They've already got a drummer. But I have about ten job offers from local (and one national) bands that are interested in me, so I guess news does travel quickly these days.

i've been playing lead guitar for my worship team for about two years. i'm also in the process of trying to get a rock band together. i tried with one drummer from my church. that band wasn't going anywhere, so i'm kind of starting another one with another drummer from my church and my brother on bass. all we need is a vocalist and a name. ;D
