without a doubt the best Christmas music ever... Has anyone ever heard Blue Christmas by Porky Pig.. it's really some comedian doing a Porky Pig impression. It's hilarious.. It's a live recording and some dude in the background is practicaly in tears he laughing so hard... or how bout VeggieTales-12 Polish Christmas Dishes...

i am totally siked that christmas is coming up soon. yeah, i cant wait, i am going to get to see a lot of my family. it is going to be so great i am so excited and i am going to get a guitar effects peddle for christmas. YES, finally i have been waiting for one for so long.

I only like a couple Christmas songs. The ones I hate are the 12 days of Christmas, and Angels we have heard on high. I do like the Relient k Christmas cd.

I like many of the old-fashioned carols as well as many religious ones.

-"O come, O come, Emmanuel" done instrumentally on "Old-Time Country Christmas" (Yeah it's basically country/bluegrass instruments playing Christmas carols. I'm not one for bluegrass, but I think it's a pretty good cd.)

-You gotta get up (It's Christmas morning)"- Five Iron Frenzy.

-"Easter Bunny" by Disciple. (It does talk about Santa Claus is dead, so yeah it's a holiday song lol.)

The First Noel <--which is a weird title of a song..it means the first Christmas carol.

...oooh...one I really like is 'Greensleeves' which is the tune of 'What Child is This?' I love when it's played on guitar, sooo pretty! And my mom has this "everything Christmas" book that has all these awesome old Christmas carols that I've never heard of, hehe...

I like The Trans Siberian Orchestra and Time Life Treasury of Christmas. There's a Christmas Brass cd that I like too.

But I like to listen to Stacie Orrico's Christmas cd. ;D

Anyone familiar with Bright Eyes? I got his Christmas cd last year. I like him enough to tolerate more than one Christmas song. I don't 'spect anyone else knows who he is?

I've heard Bright Eyes. But I'm not sure where to find the cds. You should buy the new AP magazine, they've got a gorgeous picture in there.

Yeah, it was a limited release last year. All the funds went to an AIDs foundation, I believe.

O Come O Come Emmanuel is sooooo beautiful! And one reason I think I like it so much is that it doesn't sound all that Christmasy. aha. I'm so into the season!

My friend loves Bright Eyes...but I've never really found a cd of theirs to listen to. I'll be checking them out definitely.

My favourite Bright Eyes cd is Letting off the Happiness. I couldn't live without it. Look for the songs: If Winter Ends, The Difference in the Shades, June on the West Coast and The Calendar Hung Itself. [Though be aware of some expletives.]

I highly agree. It's a nice variation of the original. Our band in high school played it and there was a euphonium solo; I rocked it of course.
