I went there - Great show, those the sound system wasn't the greatest. It was a good one, but it distorted the words a bit. I was happy the little mash pit was made. I didn't start it (tried to though), but me and my friend have the braggin rights of bein the first to try ;). I'd say 3/4 of Skillet I was up front, 1/4 I was sittin against the wall with the people I came with - restin. Skillet played a crazy long set, some 2 hours. I liked it a lot, but didn't like the whole kids in the way and seventh day slumber only played a half hour each deal.

There was a lot of crowd surfin goin on. That's cool, but there was just TONS. For such a small crowd, anyways. That venue was huge too, that's one rich crap church. And the merch tables of all 3 bands made a good bundle that ngiht as well. Like a million Kids In The Way wristbands were sold, and ALL of Skillet's older cd's sold out, crazy. I was interested in the rock pack, but I didn't have $45, and I didn't want all 5 either. I would've gotten 3 if there was, like, a 3 for $27 deal. The one dude who tried to stage dive but no one saw him comin cracked me up. SLAM, right on the floor! Of course, it's only funny cause he didn't get hurt...;). Overall, good show. Couple dissapointments, but still good, decent enougd :D.

edit: If anyone was there and saw me, I was the 6' 2" - 6' 3" big guy with spiked, blonde hair. I had a black Jackson Avenue Coffee T-Shirt on that said on the back, in big bold white letters, "Friends Don't Let Friends Drink Starbucks". And, ya know, jeans, and black shoes. I have a couple pics posted here -

Here's a link to the pics I took- Greenwood Indiana pics (

I agree- awesome show. I was 2nd row for the first 5 or so songs, and then the people in front of me I was able to snag front row. Their set was crazy...definately the best show of theirs I've been to so far.

The stage diving got a little old after a while...especially when you'd see the same kid up there 3 times. Good to know that one guy didn't get hurt...I saw that and felt bad- but couldn't help but laugh!
