hello all, i hope theres not a thread taht answers this already, but i serched & didnt find anything soooo...i bought a benjamin gate cd & i love it! i love the band too, u can tell they are on fire for God thru their music & they6 are cool being from soulth afraca n all. but...their last release was in 2002 & i went on their site & u can do much cause it tell u the page isnt available (example: sign up for the mailing list) & their last tour date was in 2003. did they break up or wat?? i hope they didnt b/c they are jsut such an awsome band, musically, spiritually & lyrically.

Yeah the singer got married to Jeremy Camp and I think they have a baby girl. Musically now her voice is heard on Jeremy Camp's "Carried me" and "Restored" cds.

they were an awesome band... lol. i know how you feel. i read it in a magazine and i thought they were joking.

I do hope Mr. Camp takes a break and BG get back together. They were awesome.

Benny Gate was good. Their sophomore effort, Contact, was kind of dissapointing, but the band still had lots of promise.

TBG was the first Christian concert I went to. <-- I think Adrienne was soo amazing on stage. I miss them much.

thats so sad, but life must go on. the legacy of benjamin gate will always b w/ us. i have cotae & i love it, but ive only heard a couple songs from utitled, i want to get it tho. its strange how if a singer leaves the whole band breaks up but if an instument leaves they can jsut replace him/her...i guess the voie is the persnality of the band but still... ::] im over it ;D

Yeah I think the did announce it. I remember reading it off their site.

I miss The Benjamin Gate and Adrienne's voice. :(

not always. Petra has had various lead singers. it's rare, but it does happen.

i think it was more than Adrienne getting married, it was other things as well. the othe rmembers of the band, i'm sure, are happy with the decision and the split was one the band made as a whole.

Yeah, they said that there were things, along with Miss Adie's marriage that made them decide to break up. I miss them soooo much! They are definantly one of my favorites! And Miss Adie's voice! Ahhhhhhhh!!! It's a good thing that she sings background for Jeremy, although, I love her for lead vocals!
Man, they could put on a great show! One of my favorites to see! And Costa and his aprons! aha!!! ::]
