Anyone play bball? I play varsity, except for some J.V. tournaments (our school is too small for V and J.V.)

I love basketball!!! I've played for awhile but just recently found a team to play on.

No it's a community league.

basketball rocks- i only play with friends- and im not all that bad-- so fun!!

There's 20 players. What stinks is there's 18 boys and 2 girls. As you can see we're a little out numbered haha

Tonight is the game againest the public school. Non of my friends want to go! This is probably the only game in the whole season I want to go too! It's kinda lame going to a basketball game by yourself unless your an adult.

basketball is my fave sport, to watch or play. i don't get to play very often tho. i'm not that great a shooter, but i can guard like a hawk. ;) (or at least i'd like to think so).

I heart bball. I played for 3 years, but alas, i'm not playing this year, but I will again. I'm alright. I'm a lot better during the season when i'm getting more practice.

well, there was 12, then one girl had to quit, i'm not sure why. Our point gaurd got mono so she'll be out for a while. and our other point gaurd has trouble w/ her shins so she couldn't play in our last game, but she should be back soon.

We had to cancel our last game. To much snow :( I don't now about the rest of you but I don't care for snow that much.

yeah, in our school if you don't commit around
8-12 hours a week plus all saturday, your probably not going far.

I'm not to bad with my left hand but it could use some work ;) I haven't been able to practice for the past 5 days i've been sick. I hate being sick :(

Yeah, I used to play basketball, but not anymore. I was really good, too. Lead the league in assist (granted it was a community center.)

I wish basketball was still going on. It's my favorite sport. I do play softball over the summer but it's not the same. Do you play any other sports?

I played soccer for 4/5 years, but when i got to high school i switched to basketball. how many games do you play in a season?

It wasn't that many. I missed my first 2 games because I didn't know the season had started already but I think I only played about 7 games. It wasn't that big of a program cause the season only lasted about 2 months.

I played soccer for about 4 years to but it wasn't that much fun after a while. I think it was really who ever had the ball had fun and most of the time it wasn't me ::] . Lets just say there were alot of ball hogs on my team.

I injured my left knee. Plus, once you get into college, it's hard to find a basketball program.

Sorry to hear about your knee. I guess that would be kinda hard to find something once you're in college but then again I wouldn't really know since I'm not in college. Anyway how did you injure your knee?

Long story. I basically broke my kneecap when I was in track and field.

I asked my parents to send me to school this comeing year and the only part that stinks about it is that the school I would go to doesn't offer basketball ::] . It really stinks they don't but I really want to go to school. Well I guess that's the price you pay.

That does suck, but if you aren't going to get a career in basketball, what can you do.

We had our league finals yesturday, crushed ste.anne into the dirt :D (we're arch-revivals)
on sat. ste. anne will play the champions from another district. the winner of that game will play us and the winner of our game will go to provincials!!!!!!!!!!

i love basketball SOOO much! i started on the junior high and high school team at the local christian school. I was leading scorer on both teams until i hurt my ankle...but after like a month of recovery i came back and was still leading scorer on the junior high. we won state too, so that was great. Our christian school plays a lot of public schools so we get a lot of tough competition and it makes us better. But anyways, basketball is my favorite sport in the world and i could play it all day every day.
