I figured we got a favorite's thread for just about everything, so why not album art?

I have two favorite album covers, but I can only remember one right now: the one off of Burning Bridges by Haste The Day. Yeah, yeah. ::] I know I've been talking about them a lot recently, but just let me say this: the only reason I picked up this album in the first place was because of the art on the cover. I can't explain why I love this cover so much, I just do.

This is a good thread. Especially for people like me who tend to buy things based solely on their packaging. These are some of my favourites.

I've never bought an album because of the cover art, although I have seen a cover I liked, and previewed the album before buying it. Maybe I'm always afraid I'll be disappointed. :-[ I'll have to try it sometime.

well i love the cover to coral fang by the distillers, but i'm almost certain someone would freak out if they saw it on here, so unless you want me to (which i'm sure you could care less), i won't put a picture of it.

I've seen it. I'm planning on getting the one with the 'safe' cover on it. However, I don't think many people would deem the other cover appropriate for this site. (it's mainly because this is a board for a christian band, and because of the age groups that come here.) :)

i agree. i was immediately drawn to them for their artwork. :) the malitia group does really cool album covers. it's not just a slap on photo of the band.

Yeah I can't really think of mine right now, I'm tired. But one I hate, is the Emery one, how you flip through the book, with the stupid bowl/vase thing on his head. It's his son Samuel I think.. the CD connects being a child learning things with beind a child in our relationship with God... and he rebukes a tornado (not during the recording but int he studio) and other stuff that is amazing like the last 4 songs being spontaneous worship along with the theme.
