Well, I have liked Squad Five-0 pretty well since their self titled album came out. It could be bought in christian stores. And today I checked out their site and listen to some clips of their new cd, and they have totally changed their direction of music message!!!
Their new album, Late Breaking News, contains cussing and lyrics like "Why Should God Bless America?". Hmmmm. What happened to them? They were a great band playing for Christ.

Did anyone else catch this sad mutation? :(

The first and only song I heard of theirs is "bombs over boardway." I was a bit concerned about this song. [and yes, it was written/recorded before 9/11 but still..] I dont know the rest of there stuff but..

I'm not gonna say anything straightaway, but have the distinct feeling this thread is an over-reaction...

Christian music shouldn't have any cussing. So I don't know what is up with that band.

This is very quickly becoming another of the "I hate Slipknot" threads...

maybe their song mentioning "why should God bless america" has to do with how this nation is more or less abandoning Him to serve other gods.

i have never been a big fan of squad five-0. *shrugs* i dunno...never really listened to their music. so i have no place to even big to judge them. and you know...none of us do. God knows their hearts. now if their music doesn't settle well with you then don't listen to it. if it doesn't bother you, then listen to it. just like with any other band.

Squads still the bomb with me. I saw them live this July and They pulled me up to sing with them on a song it rocked.
