My band is just about to put music out on the internet for the first time. We got the music, we got the equipment, but we have no name! How can this be? A band with no name? That's what we said but all we can come up with is really stupid. So many thanks to anyone wiht ideas.

i know what the feeling's like. me and my bandmates are stuck. i like the name vertical. that's a good name... lol. you can have it if you want. i think my band's gonna be stuck named <apostroph> (it's french quotation marks with the word for apostrophie in them... lol!)

Sounds good. We decided we wanted a sorta hmm... how do I put it. Hmm...deeper name. Not like The Doors? I mean what kinda name is that? We were thinkin about Emerging Pheonix. But we want a shorter word for emerging. So...we're stuck.

Have the band name be "That One Band" so that if you ever get on the radio or really famous, they'll say "And that was That One Band" and it will sound really funny. Or the name "To Be Announced". lol there just kind of funny names.

my band wanted a deep name and we thought of a bunch of good ones then i got so sick of thinking i was like ohh who cares lets be the exploding grocery carts. we all laughed but the next day guess what our name was. exploding grocery carts (EGC)

i was once in a band called The A.D.D.s ....um yeah we broke up almost as quickly as we got together. we sucked so badly.

Well, i am currently working on a "Wicked Band Name list" and so far I only have 2 names; Paint by Numbers and The Rabbi Rejects. But apparently Paint by Numbers is already a band. And there is a meaning behind Rabbi Rejects.

I've thought long and hard about a band name, for no apparent reason. ::] :P BUT! If my some chance I learned to play an instrument and started a band, neither of which are likely, the name I happened to come up with is "Dogwood Cross." :) Use it if you like.

Cool name! I just thought I'd put this out there anyway. Hehe. A looong time ago, when I was but a wee rocker, I thought of how cool it would be to have the name Jeremiah's Fire, after Jeremiah 29:11. I still think it's a good idea.

My *band* name is Vespar Rose. *Note* I know Vespar is spelled wrong...my sister came up with it and she wants it spelled that way! Don't take our band's name please...we've already gone through two band names ...hopefully we'll stick with this one for good.

My band's name is THRESHOLD....I originally wanted to name it INTERCESSION, but no one else liked it...The word Intercession means to Intervene...here is the dictionary's definition:

1. Entreaty in favor of another, especially a prayer or petition to God in behalf of another.


I really like it...But I think I like our bands name too...
