I don't know, I think easter weekend is at the end of April...that's when spring 'starts'.

Haha. I thought 'ooh New York that can only be five and a half hours away!' When really it's a lot longer... :-[

Looks like I might not get many Skillet concerts in this year...that's alright, I saw a lot last year. It's just kind of normal for our family to see a skillet concert every three months or so. We've been spoiled...

have fun to everyone who goes.

It's probably either in the FLCC Performing Arts Center or Crosswinds Wesleyan Church. Either way, I'm thinking about it.

By the way, you should call the youth pastor for more information. Ask for John Stevens. He's a really nice guy. Tell him Brandon says hi! Because if you call the church, it will transfer you to the office and there's practically nobody there except on Sundays.

Edit: It is in Crosswinds but the tickets are going to be limited. If there's enough demand for it, they'll likely move the venue to the Performing Arts Center.

No, I won't be in Cali till the week of the 29th or so. It's a business trip as well, though I'm sure I'd find my way to the show if there was one that week. ;)

Hey everyone who went to the show, did you guys like the opening band Manic Drive. I know them kind of and they are so amazing and I cant believe they played with Skillet, My two favorite band playing at the same show together. I wish I could have been there only if it was not a 6 hour drive, which is really hard when you dont have a car and have school. But anyway question did the singer from Manic Drive, also the drummer have dreads still or did he cut them off.

he still has dreads.
manic drive did a decent job. their new stuff is definately better than their old stuff. and they perform well...the guitarist does some entertaning robotic moves. they definately have talent.

Ming3r
05-02-2005, 10:39 AM
Maniac Drive was good - the first band was kinda meh and almost generic in my opinion.

Anyways...skillet did about 8-9 songs off of Collide, which was kinda cool, but kinda not at the same time. I still want to hear locked in a Cage....

Outta curiosity, time to make fun of one of my friends...she went to the concert with a hoodie...came out with it stinking like crazy.

So iduno what thats for, maybe fair warning or soemthing - never wear a hoodie to a concert :D

That's awesome, man. Havelock was great. They're kind of like Staind with a metal edge. Manic Drive is a lot like TFK. Or at least i thought so. My only grief with the show, was a very small one; they should've played more songs off of Alien Youth. One of the few they did was the highlight of the show: Kill Me, Heal Me. Oh my word, that was so good.

Ming3r
05-02-2005, 05:49 PM
Not as good as it was at Kingdom Bound IMO...but still good.

Havelock probably just wasn't my style, but i still thought it was a little generic sounding...lets see...

Skillet did I Can, My Obsession, Foresaken, Savior, open wounds, a little more, collide, energy (I think) and cycle down...and hey you i love your soul and invincible I think...

Aw come on, I know somebody else took pictures...next time it might just be full video, who knows...:D

I didn't care for Havelock either. Nothing special about them, and the vocals could have been better. Vocals mean a lot, no matter how people these days may disagree.

Yeah, I saw havelock about a year ago, and I was a little dissapointed with the way he sang too, and I figured he would have changed a little by now, but I guess not. Haha, It just seems like he holds back.

Ming3r

Nonetheless, it was kinda meh and kinda generic because the vocals were jsut meh.

Anyways, I know some of you guys took pictures...
