And then there's Vacaville on 4/03.

ok so I'm brain dead again... I was confusing Palmdale and Palm Desert.. Palm Desert is to far away on a Thursday night to even consider for me... oh well... Magic Mountain is a definate.. I'm thinking of just buying a season pass right now cuz it's the same price as a one day admission plus you get alot of freebie tickets in the book...

i'm gonna be at the palm desert show (i'm looking forward to see something like silas as well).

my Dad was talking about even making the long drive to sacramento and vacaville to see skillet (maybe just the vacaville one since it looks like it is at a church so maybe they will play longer than the arena...?). but i dunno. we'll see as it gets closer. but the palm desert one for sure.

i was there last time skillet was there and it's a pretty cool place. the garage of a custom bike shop. :) i believe it is $10 per ticket.

as far as MM...i'm pretty sure we'll be going to that one (it's closer than palm desert...that's for sure ;) ). i'm gonna talk about the seasonal pass deal with my folks and we'll see what heppens. :P

skilletosis
04-13-2005, 08:48 AM
the theater they will play at is under an awning so it won't matter if it were pouring cats and dogs. I'd totally be willing to stand in the pouring rain in line for hours as long as the coffee supply was good. However in Visalia in the middle of September I'm sure we will be sweltering in the heat.

One cool thing is the later you can go on Superman the better. When the cloud covering is low and you shoot up into it, it's stinking awesome...

chrishna
04-15-2005, 01:40 PM
There are actually two separate stages at different locations of the park. One is an outside ampitheater and the other is inside a building. When the first act ends, everyone rushes to the other stage to watch the other band. I've only been to see both acts once.. when I saw Burlap to Cashmere and then Plumb. It was a ton of fun. You just don't get very close to the stage for the second act since most people line up early in the day.

unshakeable15
04-15-2005, 02:01 PM

Does anyone know what time the concert is at, and the price of the ticket?

I went last year to the Hallelujah Jubilee. They do this twice a year - YAY SIX FLAGS! We got to see Kutless and Thousand Foot Krutch, both AWESOME shows! Kutless agreed on about an hour's notice to do 2 shows because demand was so high to see them and seating is limited. Great guys!

Anyway, tickets are FREE. You can go to any of the concerts with a paid Six Flags admission, which works out well for me because we live 40 miles from Magic Mountain. HOWEVER, we didn't know that they actually handed out tickets earlier in the day (around 5pm) and we didn't show up until later, so we had to wait for people with the free tickets they handed out to leave before we could go into the TFK concert. We were given tickets to Kutless by people who didn't want to stay that late.

Moral of the story: Come early, enjoy the park, and make sure you're first in line for the tickets, otherwise you may have to stand outside the theater (which is depressing, because you can hear but not see the concert) waiting and hoping enough people leave so you can go in. Good luck - maybe I'll see you there!

tbr281

here is what the six flags website says about the show! Hallelujah Jubilee September 23
Six Flags Magic Mountain caters to Christian music fans on Friday, September 23, 2005, when the Xtreme Parks hosts Hallelujah Jubilee. Performances by Skillet at 8:00 p.m. and TobyMac at 11:00 p.m. will be held at the Golden Bear Theatre. Plus, there will be performances by Matthew West, Shawn McDonald, Monk & Neagle held at the Sierra Stage. Hallelujah Jubilee concerts are FREE with Park Admission. Park hours are 10 a.m. to 1 a.m. on September 23.
