Try burning it at a lower speed. I think when I was making a custom disc, the rewriter didnt like Collide in the slightest. By making it burn at a lower speed it worked ok.

I didn't have a problem making a copy. What software are you using to make it with? Try using Nero, it has an easier time getting past disk security.

which version are you trying to burn, ardent or lava? i've heard that one of them doesn't like being copied. also you could try ripping it to windows media or real player first and then copying it to cd.

Just use windows media player or somethin to rip the mp3's first if there's burner protection. Media player nearly always rips it no matter what.

Try to convert each track on MP3 format. There's a program called RipTastic that converts any media file into MP3 format. Then, use your CD burner and put it on the CD.
You can also copy the CD onto WMA format by copying the whole CD onto your hard drive, but a drawback is that the sound quality might not be up-to-par compared to MP3 format. Another drawback to the WMA format is that if you want to burn the CD onto Windows Media Player, you might downgrade the sound quality even further (FYI-if you do this, you might hear a "crystal" background sound that might detract form your listening enjoyment) so be careful.
as far as I know, none of Skillet's albums include any kind of built-in anti-piracy technology.
Try to burn disc-to-disc if you can. If you have to convert them to files first, certainly don't compress to mp3, wma, or anything else like that... you'll lose a fair amount of quality. Use a "lossless" format if you can.. something like FLAC, Apple Lossless, AIFF, WAV, etc.

I burned a copy just fine. :\ Just used Nero. Cost a bit of money but I think you can get a demo for 30 days.

I sometimesh ave problems burning at a high-speed. Even with a 52X CDR and 52X CDs, it still has problems coping. Give it a shot at low-speed.

i use nero and it works good.
i get the same problem too Scott. i tend to burn at a little slower speed cuz sometimes the real fast speeds mess up the copying.
