hey this a thread about really bad movies, have you ever gone to a theatre and were disapponted by the movie. i have and to start this thread off Dragonheart 2 and the sum of all fears are two i can think of. so in a nutshell what was the last movie you were looking forward to and then became disappointed in it when you saw it. ;D ;D ;D

Hmm... Let's see.... Princess Diaries 2. I loathe chick flicks. *shudder* Daredevil. Too much violence for my tastes. I thought it would be awesome, and was terribly excited to see it, until I actually did.

Lost in Traslation *cringe*
WORLDS MOST BORING MOVIE!!!
That's actually one of my favorite movies. I can see how some would think it was boring because it's such a quiet and somber movie- but I appreciated the film's subtleties.
I think Timeline is the worst movie I've seen, but Attack of the Clones and The Time Machine come close. I can't stand awful dialogue.

We rented that awhile ago... And quit halfway through the movie because it was so dumb. lol. My friends told me Napoleon Dynamite was great, so I was looking forward to seeing it, but when I did, I thought it was stupid. And I wanted to see The Forgotten, but hated the ending. ::]

Napoleon Dynamite
Lost in Traslation
Scream
I know what you did last summer
The Ring (Go see Ringu, much better)
Every other stupid horror movie that came out in the late 90s - early 2k
Thats all I can think of right now. It's too early for me to think properly...

I still havn'et seen Napoleon Dynamite, but, I mean, I don't expect much, except for, it goes to say, either you hate it, or you like it, cause, i've heard people say they hate it to death, and i've heard people say its there fav movie. cause, i've heard it has no plot, and its so stupid(that its funny, is waht I heard), and, ya, but I still want to see it.

Are you serious?
Yes, I know Ringu was 'the original' blah blah. Ringu was not scary. At all. The Ring freaked me out and made it impossible for me to sleep and it still does sometimes. Gore Verbinksi did a wonderful job with that movie. Even if it wasn't the original version.
My 'bad' movies are:
The Forgotten
Monty Python and the Holy Grail (by no means bad, just a movie I hate to watch)
Shark Attack 3 (absolutely stupid)
Signs
New Star Wars

Well, first of all I think some of you will think i'm crazy but I didn't really like Finding Nemo and Shrek. I think it's because there was all this hype that they were the best movies ever and then when I saw them I was kinda disappointed.
Hmm...my least fav movies:
-Scary Movie, Not another teen movie, American Pie...all those other really really stupid teen movies.
-Sweet November (Oh my laundry, that was the dumbest movie ever!)
Hmm...those are the only ones that come to mind. See I like most movies oh yeah... Riding in Cars with boys I didn't like. But yeah if I think of any more...

Signs and Lost in Translation are both brilliant movies. And I can write paragraphs upon paragraphs in defense of them. But I won't because it'd take too much time.
Movies this past year I didn't particularly enjoy:
Butterfly Effect
The Ladykillers
Troy
Dogville
The Village

I could go on. *shakes head*

I didn't say it was scary, I said it was better. :P The Ring only had that *BOO!* effect. A sudden flash image of something freaky that makes you jump. Thats not horror. I was very disappointed.

Aww, I liked this one. So many good quotes ;)
"Look. Look what I got. Check it out."
"What's that, baby?"
"It's a bathing suit, silly!"
"I thought it was an eyepatch."
"It crumpled the landing gear when we hit."
"Well, aren't you gonna fix it? I mean, can't we reattach it somehow?"
"Oh sure, we'll like, glue it back on. How's that?"
"You know how a woman gets a man excited? She shows up. That's it, we're guys, we're easy."

I thought the whole movie had a overall sense of fear - regardless of what was or wasn't popping onto the screen. I think the music was scary and just the story itself. Ringu had images that popped on the screen as well. The images from the video with the DUNDUNDUN music. :P I just liked The Ring better.

The thing about scary movies, is I like the suspenseful ones, like The Ring and the Sixth Sense because they're suspenseful and not like gory horror or dumb horror like...Oooh...what's the one where they go to the house and the girl ends up living there....and she's all like " I'm finally home" and there was that big black thing. The Ring (Go see Ringu, much better)
I don't understand this at all. I liked the ring...to an extent. It was a really cool mystery type supernatural movie, but the ending was kinda lame. I saw Ringu because everyone's like "It's so much better!", and you know what? It was THE EXACT SAME MOVIE, only lamer. The only thing that was different was that it was foreign, and the effects are HORRIBLE.
*RING SPOILERS*
Like when the girl came out of the tv. In the ring, I thought it was hilarious, but you have to admit when you saw that girl you knew somebody was gonna get hurt. In Ringu it just looks like some mentally retarded girl got lost!
*END THE RING SPOILERS*
The Incrtedibles: Someone didn't like that?! That's, like, in my top 10 or so movies now. I LOVED the Incredibles...that's just crazy.
The Village: You aren't gonna like the Village if you go in expecting a Supernatural thriller like the trailers made it out to be. But for what it is, I thought it was a really good movie. Agreed, the twist could've been something cooler...but whatever.
Remember the Titans: Hey, this is just a good movie everybody can enjoy. I mean, it's not the greatest, but it's pretty entertaining and puts across a good point.
Finally, for more bad movies, the worst movie I think I have seen to day is that ****hole Alexander!. NEVER see that movie. I like complicated movies...but this was just twisted up into retardedness, the majority of the little "facts" they centered it on is just historical propaganda, and even the epic battle sequence is just a snore. People's heads were just exploding for no given reason :-\.

Same deal with that new King Arthur movie. Granted, they made it more realistic in the sense that Merlin was no "magician", but it still lacked a lot of historical truth. Not to mention it was kind of a bore to watch.

Hey, chick flicks can be real. Some guys just lack creativeness. But a girl can still dream can't she? And yeah about the King Arthur thing, I admit I was really excited when it came out, i could barely breathe, But I didn't like how they changed the story! Like, you can't just change the whole story when it's generally the same story. But yeah good looking guys in it, which makes up for it somewhat. it would've been a good movie if it wasn't tied into King Arthur. I give it...2 and a half stars out of 5.
