Talking on the Phone.

Depends on my mood and who it is. Sometimes I prefer IM, sometimes I prefer phone.

phone, specially when ppl call me.. i loooovee getting calls on my cell.. it makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside that i actually have friends :D.. yeah IM is good too.. but phone deff wins in my book

Depends for me mostly... some people I can start a conversation with by being with them or IM'ing them, but cant start a thing on the phone. For when I prefer phones it when I can start a conversation better or I havent seem them in a long time.

I guess it depends on the kind of person ur talking to...but since im a gurl i like to talk on the phone lol

I'm not even sure. lol. IMing is just easier. You can proofread what you're saying before you send it, and then you won't have any problems trying to hear what the other person is saying.

I have a slight hearing problem (too much loud music), so IM is a ton easier to understand.
but a phone is more convenient when you need to talk to a person right now.

I hate the phone. Real life is so much better but if I really need to contact someone or am on AIM late at night...that's better.

i like talking on the phone better but nobody really can because of minutes or their parents are going to go on the phone or whatever. iming is more convenient for most of my friends.

I like them both. it seems easier to talk on the phone because you can say it and it doesn't take that long. on AIM, it can take forever to say something really small. But, Aim has it's advatages too.

real life beats the phone.. FOR SURE... im isn;t bad..

I might do that sometimes. if i'm talking to a really hot girl i might kinda stumble over my words at first. or i'll just be really quiet. not if i'm talking on the phone though. i learned some skills with talking on the phone while taking my BST class online. it helps alot. bu ti can't remember what the tips are. all i know is that they helped. lol

I like talking to a person when I'm making plans with them or something (like hanging out or going to the movies and whatnot), but other than that, I like to chat online...

yeah, sometimes i'd just love to take those telemarketers on a trip. make them hate their job. but i'm sure they already do.

i used to do it alot in FL. now like none of them call here in TN. we would get like 10 calls a day. i liked to pick up the phone and just listen and not say a word. they're like, "HELLO?" or i'll breathe really hevily into the mouthpeace and then hang up.

I prefer the phone.

Instant messaging is convenient, but it's also...kind of missing something in terms of the value of its communication (literally and figuratively).
I guess I just enjoy hearing people's voices. I guess you could use microphones while messaging, but still...it's missing something. I like the phone better.
I haven't even used AIM or YIM in quite a while.

it depends on the ppl, conversation and emotions for me. Like last night I had a very emotional conversationover IM with a friend(gurl), & I would've preferred to call her. But she was doing homework and she's 12 hrs away, so the phone bill would've been HUGE, so yeah, it depends on those 3 things for me

If I am having a very emotional conversation, I would so prefer to do it over IM. I don't do good talking over the phone.

i like YM cuz most of the people i know are on it and its the only im that supports smilli central whitch is fun to do. the phone is just way too boring and limited!
