hey guys, my mom is in a lot of pain. her mouth was hurting and had to get a root canal. (tried vicadin for the pain but she was throwing up and dizzy so the dentist took her off it.)

she goes back monday to finish up her root canal and now her mouth is throbbing in pain again. the specialist said he'd contact our dentist because she shouldn't be in pain since the root is dead. so here two options are: 1. an infection or 2. she needs another root canal on another tooth.

(she has antibiotics and has been living with extra strength Tylenol for about 2 weeks now.)

she said the root canal hurt more than her experience with having kids...

she is in a lot of pain, feels bad and is crying because of it.

so as the Lord leads you, please join my family in lifting her up in your prayers.

She shouldn't be in that much pain if any(cause I had 2 done) especially after a root canel the nerve is suppose to be dead. I'll pray for her , I hope she feels better.

no. and he doesn't work friday - sunday. so she has to wait the weekend out until her appointment on monday.

Man those dentist are :evil:.....praying for your mom....btw wish her a happy mothers day for me on sunday.....i hope she is feeling better by then.

mommy update:

she is drinking lots of water and the antibiotics are kicking in. she is going longer without taking pain pills. first it was every 3 1/2 hours (which is pushing it, they say to wait until 4 but the pain was so bad she couldn't wait)...it's been about 6 hours now with no pain pill. she is more active...so things are going better.

Im so glad to hear she's doing better! I will continue to pray for her until the pain stops. Thanks for the update, and tell her I said she's welcome.:D

There are also some gum diseases and other problems that can cause tremendous pain too. I'll pray too, hope she doesn't have one of those gum disease things.

she still hasn't taken any pain pills and goes to see the root canal specialist tomorrow. things are really looking better since i did this post. to God be the glory!

Glad to hear the good news, and I'd have them check to see if she has any other problems with teeth or whatever.
