4-H is really big in my county and the surrounding counties in my area. So, I was wondering if any of you panheads were 4-hers.

What is 4-H?

4-H is kind of hard to explain. but i'll try! 4-H has different levels-

Club level- when you become a member of 4-H you can either join a club or become a member a large, each club is different and works in different areas of 4-H. there are so many projects 4-H has to offer, you can do a record book on cows, pigs or chickens. but you don't have to live on a farm to participate in 4-H. you can do a project on what ever you want, this year i did a project book on performing arts and one on fishing. each club has a president, vice-president, secretary, treasurer, historian, parliamentarian and sargeant-at-arms.

County-each county has a county council (our county calls it the Teen Leadership Council) these counties each have there own officers (just like in the clubs) TLC plans all the county events like share the fun (which is like a talent show) and fashion review (which is a fashion show that 4-h member either make or buy clothes and model them) and lots of other events. each county sends 4 delegates to district.

District-in my area our district is called district 8. everyone who won share the fun, fashion review, county events day and many other events go to compete at a higher level. the winners at district get to go to state.

State-State is where all the winners from each district in your state so to compete (it is really hard to get to go to state)

well, I was only 6, and all they did was talk... and talk... and talk...and talk.. :D

I was in 4-H up until last year. I just started running out of time what with sports and everything. It was really fun though. I was good at poultry judging. Once, I tried land judging. Let's just say that that one didn't work out so good. lol. anywayz, I miss 4-H though.

yeah, 4-h rocks... its bunches of fun... Lake County Florida has one of the best 4-H programs ever!!! :D

im not in it but i do like ridin horses...sum thing about the speed and i love taking jumps...its like a thrill ride that you can control...most of the time lol
