Faith was the girl who covered Korey while she was pregnant, but im not sure who is covering this time as they need 2 ppl now to play the keyboard and the guitar, hope that helps-Flame_boi ;D

yup. it took 2 people to replace korey. :) they wanted someone solid on guitar and someone solid on keys.

Yeah, the guitarist/singer for Last October is the fill in guitarist (his name is Chris) and Andrea (or Drea as most call her) is the fill in keyboard player and she was Alex's nanny for some time. :)

yes, her due date is in july. my guess would be that her earliest return would be late fall...or early next year, depending.

I just saw Skillet perform tonight and both fill-ins did very well (I think they said it was their sixth show). And Chris still used Korey's pink starry guitar. Heh.

I like Chris a lot...he's one cool guy (not to mention Rosie's fiancee). Drea's nice too, albeit rather shy. :)

i remembering hearing that the guitar the guy filling in for Korey was playing was one of her star sparkle ones (which makes for an odd visual). so i'd guess her equipment.

I attended the Skillet concert in Albuquerque last night (7-9-05) and all I can say is WOW!!! The fill-ins were awesome. Skillet really rocked the place, they played all my favorite songs and everything, I'm so glad I went.

i saw the fillins at lifest too. chris was soo good and drea was the nicest person to talk to! chris looked like this guy who went to my school... 'twas weird... but still plenty awesome!

Chris and Drea totally rock. They were definately into it and getting used to performing by c-stone cause they were headbanging and moving around, it was a good show from those two. I definately miss seeing Korey cause she's amazing, but she will be back soon enough and with another little wonder.

IM SEEING SKILLET TOMMOROW NIGHT!!! i can't wait to see what they are like without korey

The replacements were really good when I saw them last week. Chris did almost as many vocals as John, but it sounded really great. And Drea was excellent on the keyboard.

At the Cornerstone show, no offense, but the replacements were rather sub-par...I mean, they're decent musicians, but it was very blatantly apparent that the band was not working the way it's used to even to people who'd never seen Skillet before. They (Chris and Dea, you say?) simply were not in sync with everything as much as they should have been (lack of practice, I'm sure). As such, the synths/keys and half the guitars were off half the time...but I'm glad to heat it was either an off a die (bad time for one at that...C-Stone and all), or they've got in more practice and improved, *shrugs*.

Is it typical for fill-ins to sign stuff? I mean, it's cool that I got them to sign something too..... but it also kinda doesn't seem right. It was my Collide cd that was signed by the way. Seems like they're taking credit for something that's not theirs. But maybe that's just my opinion.

Nah, it's all good. It's an appriciation that they did a good job performing that night.

Hehe, when you have 300 cds pass through your hands you get a little mixed up. I know Ben usually signs both the cover and the cd.

Yeah, that's what Lori did. Ben didn't do that for me, but I was crammed up against him for a few minutes, since I couldn't move through the crowd. That was interesting.

man, It's gonna be weird going to KB and Korey won't be there. My first KB was when she was pregnant with Alex. It was funny, cause john was telling a story about how Korey wouldn't miss KB. He said: "Korey said: 'I'd rather die than miss Kingdom Bound'. Nah, I'm only joking."

Well, at least I'll get to see these fill-in people.
