Hey panheads

Myself and my family could sure use your prayers now....on Wednesday evening my mom(Marie) fell and broke her left shoulder...she is in the hospital now but by Sunday we have to have her somewhere where she can get around the clock care. This is one of the hardest decisions I have ever had to make and believe me there have been much tears and prayers over this.

If she responds to the therapy she may only be in there a couple of weeks but we dont know yet.My dad could esp. use your prayers too because this is the first time they have been apart in nearly 67 years.

But through all this God is still good...at least it wasnt her right arm so she can still feed herself etc. and it wasnt her hip which is really bad news...so there are still things to be thankful for.

Thanks so much guys.

John

We'll keep you all in our prayers John. I am glad to hear that her prognosis is positive. To bad my sister doesn't live out there she does visiting nurse work and she's a real wonderful caretaker.

Hey John! Just wanted you to know I've been praying for you today. I pray God's peace will be with you, your mother and your entire family. I pray you all will be blessed by the people God sends to work with your mother during this time. I pray she would make a special friend through all of this and even say it was all for a purpose when it is all over! I pray your father will feel His presence in a powerful way as he is apart from your mother. I pray that He would touch her shoulder and began moving it and healing it.

God bless you!

Hey guys I wanted to give you an update on my mom...her arm is finally completely healed...at first they said it wasnt healing right and wanted to do surgery but we didnt think that she was up to that and didnt give consent but the last time she had a xray the doctor could believe had it had healed...he even said that it was a good thing we held off on surgery because he didnt think he could have got it to heal any better.

Anyhow on monday sept 19 they have her set up to come home for a day on a trail basis to she how she does and if she does well and contunes to improve in therapy she may be home to stay in the near future.

Thanks again to everyone and i will keep you posted

Well still another update...the evaluation went well and it looks like she will be coming home for good on friday.

My family will have to be with her round the clock and to be honest i am really concerned that i wont be able to care for her but we promised to try to bring her home so we are going to try.

Its really going to be a hard adjustment for all of us so as always your prayers will be appreciated
