how did skillet got their name and why?

they were mixing different people from different areas of music like mixing ingredients in a skillet, do i have that right, i remember that from 01

He described it as being all of them from different backrounds and styles, it was like putting all sorts of ingredients into a skillet. john has said several times how he thinks it's a stupid name, but he knows he can't change it. eheheh
