my cat had worms so since we cant help him we had to put himn out of his missery today.

We had to put my fav cat down a few months. His leg was very torn up, and the surgery would've cost more that affordable. Sorry man, I know how it goes.

When we had dogs, we had to give them heartworm chews. It didn't cost TOO much, really... but I'm lucky we had to give them away before they died of old age (or one of them for running in front of a car or something like that :P silly puppy)

no wee probably couldnt afford the surgerory plus he was 5 human yeasrs old. like 50 in cat years.

if your cat has worms, you didnt need surgery. a deworming pill or injection would have cost between 5 and 15 dollars.

also, cats cared for properly live to be about 10-15 years old. 5 years was still a relatively young cat.

whatever.he's dead now, so yeah.

(PS: you can go to any vet's office, anytime they are open, buy the flippin pill and give it to your cat. you don't need an appointment, perscription or the use of any tools! its much cheaper and even EASIER than putting the animal to sleep!!!!)

if you live in the country, a lot of times you have more than one cat. i've lived on a farm before and i think we actually had a total of 13 cats at one point. if all those cats got sick or worms or whatever, we wouldn't want to take them all to the vet to be taken care of because obviously we did not really care about all those cats. so, nevertheless, some of those cats died from illness or unknown cause, others died by being under the hood of a big truck when it was started, others ran away, and even more we gave away. it's just the life of a farm cat.

Money can be a problem for some and Im sure if those who are to poor were able to pay for the vet could , they would in a heartbeat but some can't its really not an excuse their just unable to.

cause i DID give a crap about the cat, that is the only pet we have ever had that actually lasted MORE than ONE YEAR. the reason i stopped giving a crap was because, i realized that all good things HAVE AN END, and SOMETIMES YOU JUST CAN"T DO DITTOLY SQUAT ABOUT IT and when that happens what can you do?
