hey guys
i need prayer for wisdom as to whether or not i should tryout for a sponsorship for skateboarding. ;D i really love to skate and getting a sponsor would be cool, but im not sure if im ready to handle sponsorship yet. i dont really want to have to think about trying to keep a sponsor at all and i just wanna skate for fun, but i kinda think it would be cool to be able to say that im a sponsored skater. :- JUST PRAY THAT GOD WILL GIVE ME THE WISDOM TO MAKE THE RIGHT DECISION FOR MY FUTURE IN THIS

let God be the guide in the decision you make. i know that sounds obvious, but many people ignore the One who's wisdom can easily answer the questions of life. but from what it sounds like, your movtives for getting a sponsorship are slightly skewed. (i'm not saying anything bad about you here. this is what i've gathered from your post & is completely my opinion.)

you said "i kinda think it would be cool to be able to say that im a sponsored skater." while it would be cool to be a sponsored skater, is that what really matters? that seems like a selfish motive for someone to want to be sponsored. but, what i want to impress upon you is this. if you truly want God's answer for this question, be willing to take whatever answer He gives. God might tell you that you don't need a sponsorship, & if He does, be willing to take that answer.

Lord, i pray that you would give Drummer720 Your wisdom. Show him the way that You desire him to take. Let the path before him be so clear that he would not have to question what he should do, but just take the steps that You want him to take. Amen.

u know really thinking bout it i love to skate and ive decided that if im still so unsure about being sponsered, if im ready if my parents will be happy or if its really the road i want to take then im not gonna go for it now. ill wait until im completely sure of if its what i should do for now ill stick to just having fun doing what i love. for anyone wonderin ive been talkin to a lot of people

awesome. :) it's good that you're talking to people about this & waiting until you're sure that this is the road God wants you to take. the right thing at the wrong time is the wrong thing. :)

Yeah. If your hearts in it, make sure God is in your heart as you decide. Praying. I feel go for it.
