i would have put it in the prayer requests but its kinda urgent...please pray for my friends dad who was admitted into the hospital the other night because of severe stomach pains....the doctors said he has something that made his insides look like he was a heavy drinker....but hes not...he only drinks on occasion so they dont know why it happened....any ways they said it could swing any way and he is still in critcal condition and the only thing they can do is wait to see if the medicine helps......they said if he would have had a beer or any thing like that it would have killed him....so please pray

good news is hes doing better now and the best case scenerio (or however its spelled) is he'll be out in a week, worst is he'll be out in three weeks...they found that it is a hereditary problem and he wont be able to ever have a drink again but i dont think that will be to much of a problem....my friends doing a little better but she was under a lot of stress and it was wearing her down...she took time off of work to be w/him so hopefully she got to rest a little...and thank you all for your prayers.....

bad news...he apparently has some systs on his stomach or something of that sort and they transported him up to the cleveland clinic because they dont have what is needed to take care of him....so more prayer would be greatly appreciated
and on another sad not, my former girlscout leaders husband died a few days ago....he had a heart attack while he was on the mower....he was only in his late 40's to early 50's so please pray for his wife and their kids....they are great people and were foster parents to many kids and he will be missed....and my sister in law just got a call from one of her friends saying that her friends dad died.....so we would really appreciate some prayer for all of us...thanx

ooo man, bad news double time...but on a lighter note. im pretty sure systs are usually removable as long as they dont have stuff all wrapped around them or they arnt wrapped around anything else. i live outside of Cle. so i have had many relitives go to the clinic & they treat u very well there. i hope that will encourage u, i will still pray tho.

well my mom said that my cousin from bristol said that she had the same thing that her dad has and they did like 7 surgeries on her before they found out what it was.....then they finally sent her up to cleveland and they found out what was wrong w/her quickly....i definitly trust them....i figure he's in a good hospital and if anything else goes wrong they wont have to transport him while he's critical....thanx alot for the prayers.....this truly is the best board that im on
