Something great has happened. I'm moving to Pennsylvania! Leaving all my friends! I get to go to a school that has a dress code! Skirts below the knee, and you have to have long sleeved shirts! Pantyhose, also! I am so blessed! We can't take my computer! They have no sports program! This is truly wonderful! Come let us rejoice!
The truly terrible thing is that this is all true. No make-up, no jewelry. No shorts, no jeans. I am so pissed. The only good thing about it is that Christine is coming. That will make it a little more bearable.

I'm sorry. I moved from Virginia to Idaho right after Seventh Grade started, and lost all my friends. I did make new ones however, and I'm sure you will also. We don't have a dress code though. Why can't you take your computer?

basically they come up to around your belly button, and now the style is to wear them on your hip bones. I wonder why they are doing that...I ahve never been in style anyway so it makes no differene to me.

Personally, I see the whole school things from both sides.
On one side, you have the fact that they take a part of your personality away from you telling you how you have to dress.
On the other side of this, schools with uniforms make things easier. No one has anything better than the other. Get this, when you get a job, you have a dress code there too. I'm not talking about minimum wage at hot topic, but after college job. So get use to it.
Most schools are backwards, they are too linient on things that matter and too strict on silly things.

^ I totally agree with you. Sometimes I wish I could be ina situation like that. It gets rid of a lot of distractions.
