It's a promise thats not going to be able to be kept. Its like promising you'll never have a bad thought again. I'll pray that God help you with it.

I've made that pact, and I've broken it, and I hated myself for almost a year before I sought after God's peace. Finally I understood that making a pact wouldn't help, but trying to maintain a pure mind and flooding it with God's presence, peace, and love would. Being a human guy, I still struggle, but with prayer and God's help I conquer over the sin, instead of it overcoming me.
