You may remember my thread about my mom being baptized into the Mormon Church. Well she lives in Louisana. She just called and said she would be here in a couple of hours. She drove out with a friend who has an ill family member.

Please pray for us. That God would give me the right attitude, actions, and words to witness to my mom reguarding the Mormon doctrins. And that she will have ears to hear. this is very unexpected and a huge oppertunity, we could really use your prayers. I don't the specifics of her friends family member but would appreciate a word of prayer for them also.... Thankyou Panheads!!!!!

Mathew 10:19 and 20 says:
At that time you will be given what to say, 20 for it will not be you speaking, but the Spirit of your Father speaking through you.
Hold on to this promise and pray, every spare second in the conversation and any other time you get, God works everything out for the good of those who love him, I'll be praying for you.

i got this book (for my birthday) its called Communicate. It's all about being a witness. So far I read the first chapter, and I think its really helpful if you have to witness to some one. And I will be praying for you as well!

Lord, may skilletosis' mom's eye be opened to the truth. May the light of the Gospel of Jesus Christ shine on her mind. Have mercy father, in Jesus' name. amen

ok here's an update. I was talking to my mom about the Mormon doctrins. She really has no idea what they believe. I offered her a really good book and she willingly accepted it. Please pray that she goes home and reads it and sees the truth.
