Who's going? It's only about an hour and a half from where I live, so I'm hoping to get my dad to take me. Skillet's only playing for 35 minutes. But there's a lot of other bands too. I don't have any money, though. *moan* And I really wanted a Skillet hoodie. But maybe I'll miraculously find gold or something.

*cackles insanely* Shoutfest rocked so hard. We got there three hours early, and stalked John and Ben, and watched them set up their merchandise table and took videos of them when they weren't looking. Emily's dad tried to get one of John walking around without his shirt on, but as soon as he came around with the camera John ran into the tour bus, and all you could see was his arm sticking out the door to hand Ben something. We didn't see Lori for a long time. Ben said she was sleeping. And we met the fill-ins for Korey. The keyboardist was a girl whose name I can't spell, but it's pronounced Dray-uh. I like her name. She's also Alex's nanny. She was pretty awesome. I don't know the name of the guy who filled in for guitar, because we didn't see him until after the show.
Skillet played last. The other bands were pretty good. We were up against the stage when Monday Morning played, and I talked to Derek for a few minutes. I used to go to church with them.
Skillet only got to play for 40 minutes, but what a 40 minutes. They rocked so stinkin' hard I don't think I'm ever going to find my face. They had this step ladder-ish thing set up on the stage, and Ben kept running up on top of it and jumping off and stuff. At one point, his guitar strap broke, but he kept playing until the roadie grabbed his other guitar. Ben was so good. I'm totally in awe of him. I don't know how someone can move their fingers so fast. Everyone else rocked too, of course. And the fill-ins were really good.
They started off with Energy, and then they played My Obsession. I don't remember the order, but they also played Collide, Forsaken, You're Powerful, Savior, a worship song, and I can't remember what else.
But yeah. It rocked. So hard. *twitch*
