So what is it do you like hardcore or punk it seems to me that people that like one dont like the other for me its hardcore.

I actually like both in moderation. Too much punk gets a bit.. weird, cause it's not much of real punk left anymore, we have crap like good charolate instead which isnt great...

I don't like pure hardcore. Sprinkled in with other genres (except when the outcome is metalcore :-\ ), is how I like my hardcore (especially RAW ;) ) . Punk, however, seems ALL THE SAME to me. Can't stand it.

i like hardcore mostly, but a little punk, like switchfoot, but i usually cant stand the voices of punk bands, like simple plan, i hate them! :)

to be honest, i like more of a cross between the two...thrice, misery signals, atreyu, avenged sevenfold, death by stereo, saosin and stuff like that.
