im only 16, but i was raised on 80's love and rock songs. it seems like im the only one who knows these songs (atleast my age). i also love 90's rock (or punk, alternative, whatever)
bands like third eye blind and hootie and the blowfish, or even green day was cool back then (although i really dont like them anymore). i love late 70's rock like Queen and lynyrd skynyrd. whenever i talk about or sing 80's and 90's music people look at me weird. is there anyone out there thats like me in my taste for music? i love christian rock the most, but i still love "the oldies" ;D

90's all the way baby!
It's a shame that these eras were filled with one hit wonders, because there were some really good hits by bands that never made it past their first album. But I like Candlebox, Pearl Jam, Stone Temple Pilots, and others, but mainly those. The rest I know and love, but like I was saying, one hit wonders so I don't know who to get... ::]

Heh, I'm 17, and about 90 percent of the music I listen to was created between 1960 and 1985. I don't get that much flak for it.

i just remembered another band ~ Blind Melon. they were a one hit wonder, but theyre music video for 'No Rain' is more memorable than the song. the video has the little chubby girl running around in a black and yellow tutu, and she is in a field at one point in the video. has anyone heard of it, or remember the video? its an awesome song. but i think the lead singer died of drug overdose :(

Stone Temple Pilots are a favorite of mine. I think a lot of their songs are great. And his voice...hmm...I love it!

i still need to get "Lonely House." i love "Flying." i pull it out every once in a while and listen to it for a bit, then slide it back in it's slot. :) great CD.
