yeah, i played the guitar today for our school. it was my firsts time leading. i thought that i did pretty bad, but i guess you have to start somewhere. well, i'm going to see a new band on sunday in quincy. they're called decyfer. you should look them up. they're site is decyfer.org it's pretty cool. at first i thought that they were gonna be just anohter sell out christian band and then i listened to the words of the song and it really was like straight from the bible. i hate bands that say their christian and then don't even live like it. it really drives me crazy. it's like their supposed to be examples of how you should live, yet they don't even resemble what a christian in the bible is. ahhhhhhhhhh! what is "christian" music coming to? i guess you can't really put your hope in christian musicians, you can only put it in God.

with some bands, you can just kind of tell. i mean, you can all disagree with me if you want, cause i know you all love relient k, but the reason i actually don't like them is because they sing about whatever...god or something...but they act like the biggest jerks offstage. they're so freaking cocky and think they totally own the christian punk rock scene. but yeah, sometimes you just kind of know.

well, i did hear about them acting like jerks, but i still gave them the benefit of the doubt and continued to like them. when i saw them in concert, they didn't interact with the crowd at all, they just kind of played, i don't think any of them moved at all, except from strumming their guitars. and i was so sickened that i didn't even want their autographs, but my bro went and he told me that they just kind of signed and sent them off. didn't say hi, didn't even ask if they liked the show or anything...just sent them on their way, thinking that a little scribble on a piece of paper makes everyone happy.

no movement at all on stage? that annoys me as a "concert-goer". they gotta give a little something to the crowd, in terms of interaction and the like.

odd, when I saw them in concert, they moved around quite a bit, they didn't do any prayers though, and didn't really communicate with the audiance other than singing. I haven't seen them since that one time, the bands I don't care for is the people say P.O.D is christian, and from some things I've seen it doesn't really seem like they live the life.

Well, that explains alot. They are jerks kinda sorta. If they can't even reconize their fans and at least make an effort to interact.

yeah and it made me so mad cause their fans were just in love with them...they had signs saying, "i love this guy in the band" and other witty lines from relient k's songs, and yeah this was at creationfest, and for some reason, there was a couple people who went to the front of the mosh pit for every show, threw this stupid looking hat on the stage and begged every band to wear it. most of the bands did, and if not, they acknowledged the hat was there and said they didn't wanna wear it or something. after the hat was thrown on stage at the relient k show, they barely looked at it. they just pretended it wasn't there. i know, it's a really small thing, but it came across as really...i dunno...not really nice...i guess.
