i bought their album a little while ago, and i was VERY disappointed in it...i don't like where they scream...the album could be so much better than it really is. they didn't put 100% effort into that album, and it's so obvious.

I like 'em. My only problem is, even w/the stronger singles, whenever you're listening to their music something seems to be missing. I'm thinking with time and a good production manager at the helm they may get a lot better...until then, I'll second that Ohio Is For Lovers ;) (So what if that's their only song I ever listen to with any frequency?! ::])

The Transision is their best song ever. PERIOD.

that's really quite funny how you posted emo as being annoying in another thread, and yet you enjoy the band that gives "modern emo" (tight pants and razorblades) it's name. ironic.

as for me, that's why i just can't seem to like hawthorne heights...they drag emo down a little in that sense. i kind of want to like them, but i can't bring myself to do it. don't worry, i have listened to their new stuff. it's pretty alright, but i just can't like them.

let me just say that there are select "emo" bands that i like...bands that actually have talent. but for the most part i don't like it all...style and everything. didn't you finish reading my post? "...I don't normally like emo bands..." but w/e...let's not start this again.
