Oh my god these guys ROCK! :azn: - http://www.myspace.com/aprilsixth For the worriers, it's good, clean stuff. The band isn't christian but the lead vocalist/songwriter is (seemed pretty cool and out about it in an interview too). They should be droppin their first full-length in February...(label keeps pushin it back).

yeah, their stuff is pretty cool. i saw them in concert about a year ago. the crowd as a whole wasn't to responsive to them, but i enjoyed their music.

Yeah, I heard about them on myspace. They're really good. I've def. got 'em down on my list to buy their cd :)
I saw them in concert as well, opening for another band. They weren't that bad.

Again, it's the lead vocalist/songwriter. IMO it's the way things should be. If you have a walk with God it's only natural to have songs on that large aspect of your life, and the same for not having all your songs that way. http://www.unratedmagazine.com/Document.cfm?Page=Articles/index.cfm&Article_ID=148 - that's the interview I read to find that out...
They're a mainstream band, from what I've gathered; the band had been touring with secular groups, which really doesn't mean a whole lot. Even though one of the members is Christian doesn't mean that that should confine the band to the "Christian Music" genre.

Well, that's cool. I like one of their songs, so I'll check them out some more.
But it's interesting that they were on Christianrock.net, and some christian radio stations. But, that's cool.

bad news guys...here is a bulletin sent to all the ppl on their friend list on myspace:
Hey all, it's Christopher McCracken. April Sixth has fianally given in and thrown in the towel. I personally got sick of all the Label crap and was sick of no one from Columbia believing in us. I am so grateful to have had all of you as fans. And I am sorry it had to end so soon, but trust me it was for the best. There is still a way for you all to get your hands on the record. I will be sending out a post next week telling you how. God bless you all and thank you again for being great fans! Your pal, Christopher McCracken
and
Hey, as you probably have all heard, April Sixth got dropped from Columbia Records. So therefore "In Memory" will NOT be released into any stores. If you want to get your hands on it you can go to pinkispunkclothing.com . You can purchase it there. There is a deal going on: when you buy a Pink is Punk Shirt you get the record thrown in for free! Come get it while you still can. Oh, and sometime within the next week or so I will be putting up tons of April Sixth merchandise that you can get your hands on, so make sure to check it out!! God bless! Your pal, Christopher McCracken
PS I will still be writing songs, and I will post them from time to time just so you guys can have something to listen to.
