hahaha.. i know it is sad, but yeah.. have you seen the covers of their CDs"? i have printed their covers on big sheets as posters, cuz i like how they look, and what they mean TO ME i am not really sure what that means TO THEM

Why does it have to be biblical? Its just name they choose, it doesn't mean they actually have to hunt demons. They could have meant spiritual demons and maybe their own demons that their dealing with.

i remember reading an interview about this once from the singer of demon hunter... i dont know where it is now but yes, they sat around one time thinking of names and someone said demon hunter. after a while the name demon hunter just stuck with them. it doesnt have a meaning.

He hunts demons? Where in the bible does it say Jesus goes ahuntin for demons? In rev. Micheal defeats satan and kicks his butt outta heaven. Micheal(I think) also defeats the Prince of Persia in the book of Daniel.

okay, this is straight off their website, regarding the meaning of their name...

To be a Demon Hunter represents the desire to hunt down evil and destroy it in all of its forms.

I think that some people are being plain stupid when they pick there band names. But I also think that it could have a really big symbolic meaning if you looked it up. Some are really funny and stupid and some are soooo stupid and retarted it makes me gag. And some are so sad it makes me cry because there are being complete idiots.

I don't think he meant the demons are protecting us, but rather, the demon hunters, however I don't think we all have demons in us.
