i'm really happy they are keeping songs like "The Undiscovered" in their repotoire. i can understand dropping songs like "Blood of Jesus" but "Undiscovered" is a great song that still fits with their style change/change of focus.

now alls i need is to get their album and see 'em in concert. :)

it is now availble through their site (www.worshipcircus.com the listening's site isn't up yet). it'll be in christian bookstores in January.

and yes, you should see them when it works out. :)

wow, I really, really like the songs on myspace. I've always enjoyed the circus, but I haven't listened to this new stuff yet. Sounds great. I think I might get a copy.

I kind of listened to their stuff on myspace but I have dial-up internet so....that speaks for its self. I'll listen to it at school when it's not all chopped up because of slow internet. But from the peices I did get, they are so mellow, but I like it. They sound like a band that should be played in a sub place I ate at today called "Dave's Cosmic Subs." They're interesting, but I'll make my judgement when I get to listen to their songs in one peice.

What was their concert like? I know in their e-mails to their mail list Gabriel said that they basically weren't going to say anything in concert, just play, in order to get the focus off of them and more on God. One of my favorite things about RRWC though was the stuff like the mojo prayers. Was it still enjoyable? I hope they're at Creation East this year.

Peace

They should hire you as their promo agent , Tracy :)

You're doing a good job so far

I've seen countless plugs here, and a few myspace bulletins :)

it was intense. no they did not lead into prayer time like before (which i loved as well). but it was almost as if the instruments were the ones vocalising prayers. it was very enjoyable. eric (the drummer) bought lighting, so they had a complete light show that added emphasis at parts. and yes, Gabe doesn't talk as much...they just play at let the music speak. the two nights i saw them they played for about an hour or more and wow...they could have kept going. it was a really cool experience. i'm so glad i went.

if they are at CE, you should go see them for sure. it is different from RRWC days but i think you'll like it. they've grown musically, in my opinion.

cornflake - lol. thanks. :P i try not to spam the bulletin feature on myspace...so hopefully they weren't annoying you. i just enjoy promoting good music. :)

sarah - i'm curious as to what you think. it is more mellow but i enjoy that artistic/mellow expression. and the lyrics are just...yeah...wow.

I saw these guys live. As most of you know, I really don't like Christian music, but this band stuck out. They were amazing. Very Pink Floyd influenced, which is a plus in my book. If you can see them live, try to do so.

i was wondering the same thing. maybe they don't have a distributer yet(?). hmmm...

at least there is a way to order a CD through the web.

timmy - the site isn't working for you? ??? does it just not load or does it give some kind of error message?

timmyrotter

well the site wouldnt load before, but its working now! and about the record, it will proabbly be hard to get cause they arent signed... thier producer went ot me girlfriends school last year, and was in band with her, she got to hear like a bunch of thier demos... thats neat.

I absolutely LOVE the Listening.
First of all, the name change is good (not to say I don't like RNRWC, but it's longer, and they couldn't have picked a better one)

Plus it's very worshipful.
I've alwys loved Worship Circus, and I love their new style. They're just amazing ;)

has anyone heard anything from them lately? (tracey?) i know there were in a van wreck a while back, but are they still together, they never return my emails... so i just wanted to knwo what is up.

i've been wondering the same thing. i know Chris and Eric are doing their own production stuff on the side (they have their own myspaces for it). Gabe did a solo record.

i haven't heard from them either... by appearance alone (with no real knowledge or insight) it looks as if they are taking a break and doing their own thing. Gabe lives in nashville now while the other guys still live in washington. (eric is engaged now too)

but don't take my word as fact. i just assume with no real updates, and very few shows listed that they are taking a break.

here are the myspace links i was refering to:
