I would like to start a thread about musicals. I have loved musicals ever since I was little. This thread is open to discussion you can say anything you want to about musicals. What your favorite one is or what you think of them. I don't care what you say as long as it has something to do with musicals. 8) :) :afro:

I liked Chicago a lot, 1776 wasn't bad either.

I really enjoy musicals. My favourite being, of course, The Phantom of the Opera.

I've only seen that one and The Fiddler on the Roof, but would someday love to see more. Especially Rent, so it's exciting they've made a movie.

I dont know if you would call it a musical but I liked Moulon Rouge(sp?)

I saw Lion King, Wicked, Joseph and The Amazing Technicolor Dream Coat, Fiddler on The Roof, Phantom of The Opera. Out of all those my favorite was Wicked.

I also like "A Midsummer Night's Dream", that might even be my favorite.

the nutcracker is the only musical ive been to.....twas cool i guess~~i wish we had more here...or they would make them more widely known~~~

I've seen Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, Mamma Mia, Sounds of Sondheim, From Broadway to Hollywood as professional theatres. I've been involved with Grease and Annie get your gun with my school and even though I haven't seen it, I really really like Les Miz. But yeah I love musicals!

ooh yay also tops in blue(its a military thing) it comes every year and they put on the most amazing show ever!

my high school did music man and i went and saw it. It was great one of my freinds who is a very good kid played the "bad boy". I giggled the hol etime

i love musicals. i saw little shop of horrors at school, and i saw rent in new york on my class trip. i was in once upon a mattress and school house rock for school. i was a maid and the bird in once upon a matress. and i have seen many musicals on tape.

My brother was in West Side Story at the Lacaster Performing Arts Center so I saw that. He played Action and didn't have an understudy at all. I was hoping he would get sick cause I thought that would be funny cause then what would they do? And drama club went to see Lion King at Orange County PAC.that was fun. And I'm gonna see my friends in Beauty and the Beast in January at the LPAC.In the spring dramma and choir at school are gonna do the songs from Wizard of Oz at the LPAC and I'm gonna go for a lead part hopefully.

I went to The Nutcracker ballet. That's it, thought no singing

I like musical movies though :)
